He said that Rainier trained and prepared him well. His final lesson was 2 weeks ago, and they did a few routes of "mock testing" at the DMV on a Sunday when the DMV was closed. My first son had Eric as an instructor, and my second son had Rainier. We have had an excellent experience all around with Driving Eric Crazy and recommend them to all our friends who are looking for a referral. We are thrilled with the results and can confidently say that our older son (now 18 years old) is a fantastic and safe driver -- in fact, the ongoing chatter in his friend group is that he's by far the best driver of all his other teenage friends! Mikayla was able to meet with her the morning of the test for a two-hour lesson, and it made all the difference. She helped our daughter feel calm, confident, and truly prepared. What really stood out was how Mikayla coached her through the route the DMV personnel would take her on, which helped take away so much of the uncertainty and anxiety. They took the route several times to get her comfortable and familiar with changing traffic activity. By the time the lesson was over, our daughter felt comfortable and ready -- and she passed! Mikayla was also punctual and professional. And honestly, I think her youth helped her connect with our daughter in a way that made her feel more at ease right away. Your experience will depend on which instructor was assigned to you. My relative had two different instructors, very different from each other. Soleiman had a nice modern car, but his heart was not in teaching the driver but more of criticizing him all the time. His attitude, I've been told, was as if this job was a side gig to him. Not passionate about teaching, and seems to not be passionate about driving in general. My relative then switched instructors to Mayela. Mayela's car was a tad outdated and kinda dirty on the inside. The good: Business owner Dee, I've been told, is a lovely woman to have a chat with. She is certainly someone who is passionate about teaching, and I'm certain most of her employees are the same.
