What is it about automotive subscription services that requires a strange tango be performed every year upon renewal. I've had AAA insurance on my vehicles for as long as I can remember and have found them to be a godsend when a battery dies or your author idiot locks his keys in the car. Every year they send me a renewal notice for an outrageous amount and every year I call them to reduce their MSRP by half. Five minutes, over and done. BTW, SiriusXM also operates by the same rules of... hope you just automatically pay the renewal and don't look too closely. Whatever the dance, AAA is definitely worth it as there's no substitute for having a solution to being 100 miles from home and needing a tow. Thanks AAA, I'm looking forward to this year's tango. Diana is absolutely amazing! It was super busy and she handled the line so professionally and was still so patient, helpful and efficient. Like every other office, there could be a possible wait during busy hours like 2-3pm when school gets out. This is in no fault to the staff here they are all so great and we truly appreciated all their help! Also I didn't realize how many amazing discounts AAA offer and we were able to get our international driving permit and Japanese yen with an amazing rate!! AAA Technician J090-Alvaro A had me waiting over two hours for a tow ask for a proof of payment. I showed it and he still refused to tow my car and says my order has been cancelled and drove away. I hope him AAA looks into and he finds a jobs he actually likes and doesn't take his bad days out others. read more

AAA is a nice card to have up your sleeve. It's good protection for towing if you get stuck, battery charge up when you're dead, fuel fill up if you run out. The endless bonus perks you get adds up. Plus, if you travel a lot you get special discounted rates with your AAA membership. HUGE for travel! I came here to get my free passport picture taken with the Premier membership I hold. I was met by a friendly staff member who helped me the entire way. She was also kind enough to give me information and other perks I didn't know about with my plan. AAA does a lot more too... Insurance, travel planning, booking, etc. This location is equipped to help you with your needs. My ONLY gripe was I tried calling this location before I drip out, and couldn't get through to anyone. They need a better system for callers to get through. read more

AAA is what it is and they do what they do. They aren't especially cheap, but if you use your membership for discounts at hotels and such, it usually pays for itself. And of course if you need roadside assistance even once, you'll be glad you have AAA. read more

Envelope arrived, says"cards enclosed". No cards enclosed. Call, waiting 10 minutes on phone, 15 more minutes talking to someone. Says he will send out cards. 2 weeks later, no cards arrived. Called again, another 10+ minute wait. Cards were not sent out, will send them again. Since they merged with some other AAA, terrible customer service. Apparently, customer time and satisfaction is not a priority. Of course, they got paid. Terrible company. read more

I have called their office several times. Usually in regards to travel. For the most part they have been rude and nonresponsive. I called today asking about passports and again dealt with rude personnel. It is a shame as we travel every year and live 5 minutes away but I will never call them again. read more

I walked into AAA in Oradell to apply for my international driver's license. My request was processed by the lovely Yvette Agnic. she was very welcoming, professional and pleasant. I had major trouble locating my account number because I didn't have my AAA card on me. after several phone calls to both my husband and my mother in law, it turned out that the system didn't recognize the acct # because the code belonged to a different AAA zone. Ms. Agnic was able to resolve this issues in a timely fashion and was extremely pleasant with my husband on the phone ( verifying info etc.) my request was processed in less than 15min. ms Agnic was wonderful and because of my good experience with her I recommend this location highly. read more

AAA will tell that their battery warranty does not apply if you have low mileage use on your car - THIS IS NOT TRUE. I am a consumer attorney and their warranty language is very broad and the warranty on their website has no restrictions. This is just a ripoff to get you to buy a new battery. DO NOT BELIEVE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE IF THEY TELL YOU YOUR BATTERY WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY - IT IS GOOD FOR 36 MONTHS. read more
