Great customer service! I inquired about travel agent service and she made sure to give me all the information that I needed to inquire , both online and in person with a local Travel Agent . After a brief wait , I was called by an agent rep who was named Anika P . who was also very friendly and knowledgeable about all the services. She made me feel very welcome during the visit , from star to finish . The basic membership is still reasonably priced! I've been very disappointed in the Customer Service I've received at various businesses throughout the Natomas Area, however I can say Triple A renewed my confidence that some people and businesses really do care about their customers! There is average customer service, good customer service and then there is AWESOME customer service! I definitely received the latter today! Please give both these ladies a raise ! Pronto :-) .. Currently here waiting in line. Very busy and the board shows 7 people with DMV items. Only one person handling those items. But then I look to the left and there's staff at desks who I guess only service the insurance part. But everyone waiting here is waiting for DMV services and some of them have complicated paperwork while I merely need to renew registration and want to pay cash and card. Very odd to have one person only doing DMV. The person greeting to triage is fine but there should be some system in place to help where it's needed. They have 3 desks in the DMV area but apparently everyone is compartmentalized. Edit: waited 20 minutes and my name went from #7 to #5. Gave up. Literally the only real reason I have my membership was to streamline and give options for registration. Epic fail. Might as well drive to the DMV and take a number. read more

This branch is really convenient since it's by my house. I spoke to representatives on the phone prior to coming in but the lady who helped me in person wasn't the nicest. She would cut me off and say things that were different than the other two representatives I spoke to on the phone with. I think I'd come back and just ask for someone else to help me. When I called about aaa car insurance the guy was very confusing about how AAA works as a member and insurance company. It was like instead of talking direct he went all around the world to explain it and it confused me initially. He seems frustrated then I said to him the basics of it and he YEAH and I'm like then why didn't you say it like that instead of going all around the world? Warning #1. When I called to cancel membership and insurance they canceled membership then transferred me to cancel the insurance. Then it hung up. I called back and now they're closed. So I had to pay 3 more days of pro rate. Warning #2 I called Monday to cancel insurance and the guy was a total Karen, if Karen could be a guy. Oozing this pretentious attitude and bad condescending vibes for a person who simply works at a AAA satellite office. I'm like bro McDonald's is paying $20/hour now so you're not above the board anymore. Kept talking down to me and had this snarky tone the entire time. Iam a AAA member for roadside service which provides (100 miles tow one direction) up to 4x per year, a gallon of gas brought to you if you run out (I have never run out) and other minor benefits such as discounted Disneyland and other attraction tickets. This runs around $109 annually (recently increased from $99 a year). Thus it allows me to use this AAA center for AAA and DMV business. It has been pleasant having this AAA service center 2 miles from my home in the Safeway center on Del Paso Rd. I can pay registration, handle title changes and many other DMV related business here with short to zero lines. However, for my Real ID and license renewal this past July, I had to go to a DMV as some things must be done at a DMV. Usually, there is a greeter but today she wasn't at the podium up front until I beat her to a table to wait. She asks your business you came in for and sends you left for AAA business and discount tickets or DMV business to the right. The clerks are not generally the smiling happy type from past interactions but with my gift of gab, I tend to be able to flip the script on sour faces. The absolute best thing here is the Keurig k-cups machine with complimentary coffee for members. Cool flavors also. Wifi is free too. Cozy modern decor with chairs and tables to lounge on if you have to wait. Great location for AAA members to avoid the long lines at the DMV and get it done here. AAA is the service that I received today. I frequent the local AAA office to pay DMV registration, help friends get discounted tickets to attractions, pay insurance etc. Normally I run in and out, and it hasn't been a big deal. Today was the exception to my experience. When I walked in, I was greeted by staff who asked what services I was in for. Once she figured out how many people I needed to see, she quickly placed my name in the queue. I lucked out, and was immediately called over to one of the insurance guys. He was patient and happy to help. What would have been an hour plus over the phone, took no more than 15 minutes. This AAA, like most local offices also offer DMV services. Once I was finished with the insurance side, he placed me in the queue for DMV, and was manually able to move back to the top of the list. The DMV desk was amazingly easy as well. The lady that helped us, was so incredibly sweet and helpful, I actually forgot that I was dealing with DMV issues. She was quickly able to provide me with forms, and was able to answer some basic questions. While they are not a full service DMV office, the DMV services that they offer to the AAA customers, makes it so much easier than having to actually go to a DMV office. One major bonus, is that now AAA accepts The American Express card. This is a new offering, since the only credit cards they've ever accepted were Visa/MasterCard, or a basic debit card from your bank. This is a lengthy one: My experience with AAA insurance company has left me unsettled. They are by far one of the WORST insurance companies available in California. When my car was hit by an UNLICENSED teenage driver, I sent video footage as proof that I DID NOT CAUSE the damage that was done to my car. After TWO Days (not even a week), they determined that my car was a "Total Loss". My car was still drivable - NOT a total loss. All I wanted was for my car to get fixed. I did not care about the money - I didn't want money! I wanted my car fixed, which is why we were paying hundreds of dollars for FULL COVERAGE in the first place. I spoke with FOUR different AAA 'Specialist' and every single one of them told me something different. NONE of them had communicated with each other. They gave me the run around the first week. By the 2nd week, Susan Golden (auto field specialist) sent me e-mails with TWO different options. When I responded with my choice, Susan Golden (very rudely) told me, "that option isn't available to you, I shouldn't have sent you that option". I was appalled! It made absolutely NO SENSE for them to send me those options, if it wasn't available to me. I lost ALL CONFIDENCE in AAA as my insurance company. They were UNHELPFUL and have the WORST Customer Service ever! Susan Golden, Paul Norat, Tracy Miller AND Shenea Wilkins are terrible representatives for this company! They did nothing but, try to take my car from me. So, beware of how awful this insurance is! They more than likely WON'T do anything to help you, even if you have VIDEO PROOF AND, have a Police Report! I will NEVER RECOMMEND this insurance to anyone! I give them a '-10/10'. read more

A truck came to get me but didn't see me. I called him again and said I was right here by my car & if he can get out his car to meet me. He said no it's not his problem & I can find another ride. & drive off. This is because I didn't come up to his truck door. he told his job I refused to get out of the car & wanted to sit in the bed of the truck. False information. The driver said he didn't know what kind of car I had witch is incorrect because they ask for make and model before sending a truck to you. & was being insubordinate & difficult knowing his job is understand fr d and will let him treat customers anyway. The "supervisor" Sarah (British lady) sided with the driver & said it's not his responsibility to make me feel safe. As a random male in the middle of the night, working for a company I pay service for. you'd think it be common sense to provide good service where you get out of the truck & meet someone not make them come to your window in witch you wouldn't do the same for the customer Who was waiting hours for you to arrive. & then lie saying you didn't know what kind of car I had but was the only person parked in the lot ... Since I've been covered by AAA under my parents ever since the first time I got behind the wheel I decided to stick with them and see what they would quote me. This AAA office small but they weren't too busy when I stopped in. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and waited less than 10 minutes to speak with an agent. Candice was helpful in pulling up my old plan under my parents and explaining how it compare to changes on my individual plan. With a clean driving record (knock on wood) and already being insured with them before I got a pretty good deal with upgrades not far from what I was already paying. I admit I'm kind of an insurance dummy so I'm glad Candice was patient and explained everything to me thoroughly. I left with a better understanding, my own insurance and AAA membership and a cute little portable speaker (for mentioning Yelp) in under and hour. Registered my car with them yesterday have registration paperwork and was told was completed.today i get call saying that my registration is incomplete because they forgot have me sign more paperwork. I also asked if pulled over until can get back in to fix would i get towed or in trouble and was told yes..now have find a ride to them because dont want chance getting towed or ticket because of this mistake. Had to take a 275 mile trip to get signatures needed and dumbasses gave me wrong paperwork and from what i am told at this dmv they could have had all finished in sacramento read more

I almost never take the time out to write reviews, but think that people should be aware of at least the DMV services provided by this Natomas and other AAA locations. I'm a lifelong car and motorcycle enthusiast and as a result spend a lot of time and money with the DMV. Overall, I am VERY happy with my AAA membership and ensure the whole family has it. My latest visit with AAA is a perfect example of the value of the AAA membership. For me, the benefit of having most DMV services available through AAA locations is an amazing benefit of the membership. I've used this Natomas AAA location since they opened several times. I have NEVER had a bad experience here, and my most recent visit to deal with complicated DMV registration issue and have it resolved without the nightmare of having to goto the DMV, IS ALONE WORTH THE MEMBERSHIP FEE. I've always gotten most my registration renewals/issues taken care of at this Natomas location and the experience is complete opposite of when you actually have to goto the DMV. The place is super clean and plentiful of places to sit and even working areas if you have to wait. Staff has always been friendly helpful. The high level of customer service that they have and continue to provide, especially under unprecedented conditions brought by the pandemic, is a rarity these days...especially when you consider the alternative of actually having to goto DMV without a scheduled appointment you had to made 50 years in advance.... Last summer we were clipped by a hit & run driver on the freeway...pushed us in front of a 16 wheeler...closed the freeway down...we walked away, but car was destroyed. Claims was friendly, fast and fair. Zero complaints. Love the new office in the Safeway shopping Center. Has a human at a podium as you walk in...asks why you are there to expedite where you go...it has a DMV satellite desk there, so no waiting in line at DMV for a lot of services read more

It wasn't this specific AAA, but there isn't a general one. (Sorry Natomas office.. My most honest apologies) I had my policy for almost a year, added my husband and his vehicle. Was billed the corresponding amount the following month (last month) and this month was billed $130 MORE. I called to figure out what happened, and they claimed they told me the correct amount. I used to do insurance, and I asked VERY specific questions and were given VERY specific answers. Plus the manager I spoke with was EXTREMELY unprofessional, admitted the rep "misspoke" but refused to compensate me. Which makes me really sad, because prior to this I was happy with AAA and would have gladly continued doing business. The manager said she would waive my cancellation but not give me a full refund. I am blown away. That is NOT how anyone can conduct business. It's not legal either. read more
