The Home Depot (where we were supposed to pick it up) did not have our truck ready and we were left waiting for 2 hours. From when we arrived and were waiting, they promised it would be there "within 15-20 minutes," yet no one knew what was going on, where the truck was coming from, and where it was. I spoke on the phone with a Penske rep who apologized but could not give an explanation as to why our truck was not there. She just told me to keep waiting. She did refund me $30 for wasting TWO HOURS of my time, my family's time, and the hired movers' time. I will not be using them again, especially at the rates that they charge.

I notified my agent within a couple days of having, GMC Acadia, had issue/s. The tires are ball. I advised her because of handling issues and roaring noises, my attention was drawn to the tires. Feb. 17, 2025, she said she would have a replacement for me in the class. Also, I advised given work schedule, time is of essence. She informed she would be out a couple days, especially Feb. 18, but everything would be in place. I show up to be informed by the gentleman at the this nothing has been setup in my group, plus the only accomodation/s is a pickup or I can go to the airport. I advised I wasn't able to go out to the airport and it would be in Avis best interest to make accommodations given the situation of releasing a vehicle with balding tires. The rep didn't even want to look at the tires, just brushed it off with I will take your word. Glad I was driving this a couple of days ago when it was raining like crazy. Location is now under Avis Rental.

I scheduled a 10' truck pick up in Charlotte NC at 2pm. I called before 2pm and changed pick up to…read more3 pm. When I got to the location the attendant was not there. I had to call cooperate office and wait 20 mins for someone to arrive. My destination was a Greensboro NC location. I received a call at 5:30pm telling me my drop off location changed. I called the new drop off location to see if I could drop off at my original location, which was closer and was told yes. At 6:45 I drop off the truck at the original location and tried to check in on the app. The app did not have the updated location (Original location) listed. So I couldn't drop it off. I called cooperate office and was told if I drop it off at a location not designated on my invoice I would be charge a hefty fee. So after waiting on the phone for 45 mins going back and forth I had to drive another 21 miles to the location designated on my invoice. Now this has created an extra mileage and convince fee charges.Not to mention its 90 degrees and the entire process was not convent. I would not recommend using this company to save a few dollars. The end result is that you pay more....... Frustrated!
