I had a very disappointing experience with Jay. I brought my son in for a haircut, and we were left waiting for an extended period of time without any acknowledgment. The barber didn't even bother to approach us, check us in, or communicate about the wait. He purposely double booked my son to be mean. It's frustrating, especially with a child, to be ignored like that. Basic customer service--like greeting customers and setting expectations--goes a long way. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. I won't be returning, and I hope they improve how they treat customers in the future. For some reasons barbers here dont looked happy! I come here at least every 2 weeks. I'll come in the off weeks if I have a special occasion that weekend. It's super easy to schedule an appointment online with whichever barber that you prefer. All the barbers have pretty consistent clientele so they know what they're doing. No one goes back to the same barber if they aren't happy with their cut. Alberto is my go-to as he cuts my hair exactly how I want, every single time. He doesn't cut corners (pun not intended) and pays attention to the details. Anthony also does a great job and is my 1b alternate if the appointment slot I want is unavailable. I personally don't think you can go wrong here. Literally two stars just because the young man that took us last minute was super nice and quick, otherwise I wouldn't book here again, after out appointment was pushed back due to the barber needing to go on lunch, it was pushed back yet again for unknown reasons. So I went in and asked for whoever was available for my son to get a quick cut down no line up. The environment is not kid, teen, or woman friendly, lack of seating at the front of the store is uncomfortable, with there being space for maybe four stools crowed next to the window and another barber trying to work. The floor I should have taken a picture of .. literally piles of hair everywhere and instead of anyone sweeping they just blew the hair to the middle of the shop with a hot dryers or sat on their phones. Maybe it's just ment for people to get a cut and be out. If you want a nice environment head down to foothill, in the shadow barber shop is top tier. read more

Came to the barbershop this morning with my difficult two-year-old son that only got a haircut once prior and absolutely hated. We were seen by Alberto. And I can't say anything but he was absolutely amazing, patient, and extremely kind. My son was difficult. I was holding him the whole time and Alberto didn't get frustrated nor upset, even though myself as my son's mother was lol. Poor guy snipped himself because my son wouldn't sit still at all. And never mentioned it until I noticed it at the end. As a mom it is so hard to find a good barbershop that is kind to kids so I will definitely be coming back. My regular barber at ABBS in Rancho Cucamonga is on vacation but I needed a haircut badly, so I decided to try ABBS 4.0 in Fontana. Not knowing any of the barbers in this shop I booked my appointment on their website and selected "any barber." I was assigned to Michael. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Michael's chair was toward the back of the shop, and although he was finishing up with another client, he immediately acknowledged me and invited me to wait in an empty chair next to his. Don't let Michael's youth or his apprenticeship fool you, his hair cutting skills were ON POINT! My haircut turned out just as good as my regular barber - a seasoned licensed barber. Michael did take longer though, but perfection takes time, right? I have always been pleased with the staff at ABBS Rancho. The staff here (ABBS 4.0) were just as impressive - very professional and respectful. The owner, AB (Abraham), who owns all the ABBS in the Inland Empire works at THIS shop. I wasn't able to make it to my appointment due to the poor customer service. No check in option, very overcrowded and overall disorganized. I originally wanted a children's haircut and a regular men's haircut was told to make an appointment the day before to not have to wait as it can be very busy . When I made an appointment for 10 am , I arrived to only find out that i still had to wait . I even was stressed out trying to make this appointment on time and arrived with five minutes prior to my appointment . After waiting 20 minutes , my barber didn't even reach out to say it was going to be a minute or so . I felt like if my time wasn't appreciated nor respected . I don't get the point of making an appointment if there is still going to be a twenty plus minute wait. With two kids and inappropriate music made it almost impossible to wait any longer . Very disappointing experience and definitely not toddler friendly . To be fair , it is not advertised as a location for kids but if you were wondering , I wouldn't go back .
