Each day Robert and his team showed up between 7:30/8 am continued to impress us with their professionalism and meticulous nature. Our home looks brand new and we couldn't be more pleased! This is our second time working with them after originally booking them for some interior bedrooms 3 years ago when we moved in. Our neighbors have been calling / texting and complimenting the house already! He was incredibly fair with his pricing and patient with my asks . He told me a price and there were no surprise cost despite him finding rotting wood in multiple places that he went out of his way to patch and repair. It has been hard to find anyone reliable for jobs here in St Pete and It will be hard to find someone we are this impressed with ! He has set the bar high! I gave them a follow up call and got a reasonable quote, and setup an appointment for 9/29. Two people came out and quickly worked to get the fan up though they did need a taller ladder. So, they had to go to get one, but these ceilings are hard to gauge in feet. Upon returning they had the fan up quickly and left. It works great. All I can say is excellent service and excellent knowledge of what needed to done.

Buyer Beware: MP Unprofessional Painting…read more I'm posting this review of MP Professional Painting (should be called MP Unprofessional Painting) a year later than when I last used them because of how long the process took last year and I gave the company a lot of time to make things right. Since they've refused, it's my duty to post this buyer beware message in hopes of helping others avoid a truly negative and time-wasting experience. Pay close attention to the complete lack of contrariness by Rose through out this review. Not one apology the entire time. Since my cabinet supplier was only few miles from MP Professional's shop, I asked Rose if I could have the cabinets delivered to her location and she said that would be fine. After our kitchen island cabinets were painted and delivered, I noticed the outsides were well painted, however, all 2-door cabinets had the spotty paint on the inside of the opening, where it could easily be seen when you open the doors. Had the spotty paint been on the inside of the opening, where it couldn't been seen, it wouldn't have been an issue. Now that I had the painted cabinets in my home, Rose said they would have to come to my home and tape and spray (which I did not want to do). Since I didn't want the paint sprayed in our new kitchen, I saved MP Professional a lot of time and money, by buying some foam brushes and hand touching the inside edges myself. By the way, no apologies for the spotty paint and no thank you for handling the issue myself. I saved MP Professional loads of time and money by not having to drive 25 miles to my home, tape up my cabinets, cover key areas, and respray the inside edges of the cabinet frames. Some decorative panels and trim finally arrived from my cabinet supplier and I brought these items to MP Professional for painting (some were part of the original paint quote and some items were considered a new paint project). I picked up the new painted items and found the decorative panels were thoughtfully wrapped with plastic wrapping for protection, just like our cabinets. After unwrapping the decorative panels, I discovered they all had several large shiny splotches on the fronts and edges. This was caused by the painted items being wrapped too soon. I know this to be the reason because our cabinets were also wrapped in plastic wrapping and none of them had any splotches. I reached out to Rose to let her know I would need to bring back the items for repainting. Again, no apologies whatsoever. In fact, the conversation seemed like I was a pain in her backside. Then she went on, what became one of a few rants about, "This is why we paint items onsite". After placing me at the back of the priory line (it took over a month for her to follow up with me about date and time upon which I could bring back the pieces for repainting), I was finally able to drop them off. Because there was very little paint left after the island cabinets, decorative panels, trim had been painted, I needed to buy another gallon of $150 lacquer paint. Rose wanted me to pick up some moving blankets so the painted items could be wrapped in them instead of plastic wrap this time. I dropped off the decorative panels with the splotches, some frames from 2 microwave cabinets (new painting project), some toe kicks that just arrived from my cabinet supplier, and a pack of 8 brand new moving blankets. To be helpful to MP Professional, I told Rose they didn't need to paint both sides of the decorative panels (just the fronts and edges). She said they typically paint both sides. I said, "Okay, I was just trying to be helpful." Now, keep this mind for the next pick up. Approximately, 2 weeks went by and I was able to pick up the latest painted items. I got them home, unwrapped them from the moving blankets and no blotches on the decorative panels--yes! Unfortunately, all of the items had been painted with the wrong hue of blue. Everything had been painted 2 - 3 hues to light. I reached out to Rose again to let her know I would need to bring back because the color was way off and, again, no contriteness whatsoever. Keep in mind the incorrect color would not have been resolved whether they came to my home to paint the items or I brought the items to them. The fact remained I needed a second can of paint and their paint supplier screwed up. And, like last time, I said they could save themselves some time and money, by not painting the back sides of the decorative panels. However, there were 2 faux fronts and 2 small doors that needed both sides painted. Rose, again, said they always paint both sides. After getting these painted items home, I found all of them had been painted on only one side, including the small 4 doors I specified to Rose that needed both sides painted. In addition, they lost one of my custom cut toe kicks. I let Rose know and, again, no apologies and she never offered to replace the missing toe kick--just nothing, but silence. I finally gave up.
