The roof is not sloped nor has even the slightest pitch and so we effectively have a swimming pool on our roof. The leaks have continued for a year or so now while RGC did come out to "fix" the issues initially, the shotty work has caused significant issues and has impacted the well being and health of multiple people, including my child who is an infant. We have now had to relocate temporarily while we have the water damaged dry wall and insulation removed, as well the entire roof replaced. It was certainly not worth the price that RGC quoted nor the hassle of continuing to work with them. We tried our best to work with them for repeat issues but the volume of issues and pervasiveness of the issues far outweighs any benefit and demonstrates the lack of quality that RGC offers. I would highly encourage anyone reading to not use them for any type of roof repairs or replacements. A five year roof shouldn't be disintegrating in less than a year. We have had multiple roofing companies come and inspect their work and all of which came to the same conclusion, poor services rendered and complete shock on how old the roof is. I certainly recognize that a flat roof would retain water in some areas as it is flat; however, this can be counteracted by appropriately sloping and pitching the roof, as well as using quality materials and experienced personnel. It's unfortunate, truly. The roof is now about 2.5 years at this point, RGC seemed to get more serious and responsive to the issues once other parties got involved. So I can't knock them for responsiveness after the fact. I have all of the documented correspondence and picture/video evidence if RGC would like to dispute this information as inaccurate as it's pretty damming. At the very least, they should accept accountability for this extremely poor service and seek the appropriate course of action. Edit on 9/19/2023: I wanted to provide a little bit more information. The roof was initially replaced in September 2020, within a month RGC was called back out for repairs because water was leaking through the roof. RGC was great to work with at this point but as the months and years went by it just became worse. I found some images online of RGC promoting/advertising the roof replacement back in September-October 2020 which is what it is, since there weren't pervasive issues up to the point. But there's an April 2023 video of the same photos/videos dating back to the 2020 period that one of the owners of RGC has up which is wild, because they are well aware of everything dating back to 2020 and posting it as if the roof is even mildly salvageable is beyond me. You get what you pay for, remember that.

The Roosvelt team took care of the entire process with the insurance company for us, until they approved the total replacement of my roof including the Fence, an excellent company, professional and always attentive to help us. I'm an engineer by profession and reached out to them to obtain a third quote to cross reference against. I deal with subcontractors for work all the time so have a general idea as-to what to look for during first interactions. Less than three years ago, had the displeasure of dealing with another roofing company for another property located less than a mile away, so I had an idea as-to what to watch out for in terms of roofing contractors. I'm not a huge fan of negotiations, plan was to get three proposals, run a cross reference comparison, and reach out to the vendor whose proposal made most sense. Bottom Line: I highly recommend going with Lion's Crown Roofing. If possible, try to deal with Andres Andonie or Roberto (Molieri), the site manager. These guys are straight shooters, very ethical, punctual, and most importantly have complete real time oversight on their projects. Back story: Have had two roofs replaced on two separate properties within the same subdivision of New Territory, approx. 3 years apart. The first roof was replaced by another company which I won't name but the latest was replaced by Anders and Roberto's team from Lions Crown Roofing. Roof had to be replaced in a very short span due to insurance policy requirements. Experience with the first contractor: I had to baby sit the first contractor and caught their guys lying about overlapping the under-liner at the seams. Ended up having to call the site manager out, who was NOT on location while work was being done by another sub-contractor, and caught the sub-contractor lying red handed by pulling the shingles off in the area in question to see exposed decking. Needless to say, I do not have high level of confidence in their work and doubt whether that roof will last. Even if the shingles last, fully expect to have water leak issues in the interim. Experience with Lions Crown Roofing: I was up front with Andres throughout the whole process. I let him know that I had requested two other proposals from two other companies and will be proceeding forward with the company, which made more sense. Andres met all of my time constraints (1 weeks time, driven by the underwriter from insurance company) but also came in with the most competitive quote AND offered the longest warranty period. I did my due diligence by reading online reviews, which did not disappoint. Day of installation: Roberto (Molieri) was the assigned site manager and within a few hours it became evident that my spot checking would not be necessary. Roberto not only remained on site the entire day, making sure all of the work was done up to par, but also used his drone to provide updated pictures of the entire removal and installation process as the day went on. The entire roof was replaced in one day. The walk-through, per my request, was done the following day to ensure it was done in adequate lighting. I've now had my new roof for 90 days and have not spotted a single issue. Roberto, who turned out to be well educated, well versed in this line of work, and well-rounded in world events, has raised the bar for contractors in my experience. It's worth pointing out that due to miscommunication, most likely on my part, I was charged an additional fee for the payment processing. I reached out to Andres with this concern, who promptly rectified the issue by having a check for the difference personally delivered to my residence. This by far speaks volumes for the level of their work ethic and integrity. I don't normally leave extensive reviews, but since an online review is what helped me seal the deal for Lions Crown Roofing, just returning the favor.
