When I only have 1 pup, I would bring him in for a bath & get his nails cut (he's a chiweenie so no haircut was needed). Now I have 2 pups and one of them actually needs to get his hair cut (he is a long-haired chihuahua). Making an appointment is easy - just give them a call and they will let you know their availability. Something to keep in mind - around the Holidays, they tend to book up since everyone wants their pups to smell and look the best around friends & family. I received a text confirmation as well as a reminder text the day before my appointment. Parking is anxiety-free. Lots of parking available! I brought them both for our 11am appointment & they took them in right away. Received a call around 3:50pm that they were ready. They only take CASH - FYI! So when they called to tell me they were ready to pick up, I confirmed the total so I had the amount on hand. Both of my pups smelled so good and the long-haired chihuahua's haircut looked great! The staff are always friendly & it makes me comfortable leaving my pups with them. read more

Was kind enough to take my dog in last minute. When I got my dog back he was rashed and razor burned so terribly bad ALL over his body that I had to take him into emergency vets services. He was put on 2 antibiotics, steroids, and powder. This was a day before Thanksgiving and he still isn't healed. Burn and scabs were the size of cigar burns. Sooooo incredibly disappointed. They never returned my call nor told me they did this when my son picked him up. read more

This animal grooming business is very focused on on quality. They treat all of the animals like family. I will be taking my Maine Coon in to have the rest of her shaved for the summer. She is 16 so she needs a calming liquid. The groomer, Angie, made us feel very comfortable and she has a great sense of humor. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I am very disappointed with the service at this grooming spa. I originally requested a 7:30am appointment, but when I called this morning to confirm, no one answered. I still brought my dog a little after 7:30, only to be told that the groomer, Angie, wouldn't even be in until 9am. My appointment was then pushed back to 9am, so I returned at that time. By 3pm, I still hadn't received any updates, so I called to check on her. I was shocked to learn that they hadn't even started working on her after six hours. There was no communication or explanation for the delay, and keeping a pet waiting in a crate for that long is unacceptable. I understand that grooming can take time, but if a business is overbooked or unable to honor an appointment, the customer should be told upfront. I will not be returning, and I would caution others to ask about wait times and scheduling before booking here. read more

Came in on January 29th for my dog's nails and paw hair to be trimmed. I usually go to Yuppy Puppy but they were closed today and my dog desperately needed her nails trimmed. I came in and asked the older lady at the front if they could trim my dog's nails and she said "I don't know, can we?" I don't know if she was having a bad day or if she just hates her life but after that she just made passive aggressive comments throughout the rest of the time while half-assing on the nail trim. We've been taking our pets to Abby's for over 10 years now and would not consider going anywhere else. My dog Sydney, has been going there since she was a puppy. She is not super people friendly, yet loves to be at Abbys and happily walks in every time. She is a very fluffy border collie who always goes in very dirty and comes out looking absolutely beautiful. Judee has always been a wealth of information and advice for caring for her over these years. I also board my cats there throughout the year. Great place, owner/groomer is one of the best in town. She boards cats, they have roomy condos that face the side wall for their entertainment as well as ppl walking by. Most of the dogs come in once a week or every other week and are excited to be there! read more

Judy "knows her stuff" !!! She doesn't hold back any punches when it comes to our four legged friends. If you are thin skinned this might not be the shop for you. She is very companionate with her clients ..... sometimes their humans are a bit of pain. Judy is knowledgeable and has been working in the industry for years. I really appreciate her screening process to ensure there will not be any potential illnesses spread to others. When I leave Maggie (my little Boston), I know she is in good hands. Wow! I've been here before and they did a great job "venting" my extremely fluffy cat's rear. So today we were back for a full spa treatment. I have taken my dog to Abby's several times. Customer service was rude and responses to questions were abrupt both over the phone and in person. Additionally, the groomer always appeared to be annoyed or that I was imposing on her by dropping off my dog, she never smiled and I questioned how nice she was to my dog. Also, when I would drop off my dog (mini Yorkie) he would be gone ALL day for a bath and cut which seems excessive. The last time I went I felt like I had been scolded for my dog's eye boogers even though I had followed her advice and tried to clean them early on. I decided to seek another, more friendly/personable groomer after a friend's referral to her groomer... I'm glad I switched Bc the other groomer has shown knowledge of breeds (this groomer actually suggested my dog had an eye infection and it wasn't Bc a lack of cleaning that he got bad eye boogers but Bc be needed to see a vet for treatment... Which happened to be true! She didn't make me feel bad she was helpful which is what Abby's should try to do for their customers). Additionally at my new groomers my dog gets a bath and cut done in a timely manner and appears to genuinely like/care about my dog at drop off/pick up. I won't be back to Abby's. read more

This place did a terrible job with our deaf cat. They cut his fur too deeply and left multiple cuts on his skin. We had even told them ahead of time that he was deaf and they failed to consider this. They tried blaming my cat's behavior for all of the cuts that they had left on him. I could hear him distressed over the phone as I was calling them. This just only proves that they did not properly groom him and were just in a hurry to get the job done. They stopped halfway through and didn't even provide us with a refund! Not only to mention that they did a choppy job along with jeering him. He will now most likely get an infection. Please consider finding another pet salon to take your cat to (or any other pet for that matter) that will take the time to properly groom and care for them. read more

I cannot believe this place. Just because my husband stopped by to check on how much longer our dog would be Abby stopped grooming her and refused to finish the job. She said she was finished, the dog wouldn't behave now that we were there. My husband said he would leave and come back in an hour or two and she again said, no I'm done. Our dog was only half done, her front paws shaved but nails not trimmed and back paws not done at all. Ears not cleaned and I can't tell about teeth. Her face was not trimmed either. We have a golden doodle who is as sweet as can be and would have acted just fine with my husband there. They wouldn't even try and insisted we pay full price. Needless to say, I will never go back. 1 star is too much. read more
