The case went to trial and got dismissed. They are still holding a fake lien on both of my properties for $600k because they charged me $7500 a year for renewal fees for 3 years. This has been a nightmare. They are saying I owe them $23k and the $4k down payment did not go towards the bond. read more

Use another bail bonds company - there are lots of others who provide better service and accurate information. Was told that bond had been posted, dropped everything and went there in the middle of the day, did all their paperwork, only to discover that I was misinformed and that they were looking at the previous active case. Then was told to sign a blank set of paperwork for when it WILL be posted (yeah, not doing that cause who does that). They're also not truly 24 hours cause a lady who answered the phone around 9PM told me they close at 1AM - I went to sleep and called first thing this morning to find out the person I was calling for had gotten a free bond from the state. I have never bailed someone out of jail before and did not even know this was possible so I asked the lady on the phone to explain it to me. She basically said the same exact thing she said before verbatim except LOUDER. Lady, I'm not deaf, I have a firm grasp on the English language, maybe try using different words. Anyway, I ended up calling A Better Bail Bonds right after and a very nice person answered all my questions. Even told me specifically what I needed to do if I wanted to track the release time. Don't use this place - they may be Houston's oldest bail bonds company but that def doesn't mean they're the best. read more

With being new here in Texas, I needed to bail my son out on a misdemeanor charge, I called these people to bail him out. Biggest mistake I ever made. He was late for court and called them to let them know, they told him to come down to the office and they would get him a new court date. When he got there they had the cops waiting to take him to jail. They are liars and sleazy people. You do not want to get involved with these people. Just letting you know from my experience. Do not use their services! My mother & I bailed out a relative using ABC bail bonds. Our relative ended up not paying the rest of their bond once released. But conveniently, ABC NEVER notified my mother & I of the non payment until 10 YEARS later when they tried to foreclose on our home! They purposely do not notify you of non payments so they can take away whatever you put as collateral. They are scam artists. read more

The staff knows what they are doing, but they are extremely lazy. I needed to do something called a "walk through" bond and they were to lazy to go to court with me, something other good bonding companies do. So I took my business elsewhere. Unfortunately I had already used them for a first case. The case has taken over a year, and I'm still fighting it. Well this company doesn't mention that if your court case takes over a year, they charge you half of what your original bond was. Example: If you have a 10k Bond and you pay 1k to Bond out, a year later they will charge you another 500. They fail to ever mention it, and claim it's in the fine print. If you have ever had to go through a bonding process you will know that you have to fill out 15+ pages, and you're distraught trying to get a loved one out of jail. Making it difficult to catch all the fine print BS. This place is not a trustworthy company and will screw you for all the money possible. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!! OMG! It took 3 days to get my brother out of jail with this place. They do work with you with money however the only thing that was holding us up was PHONE NUMBERS to ppl jobs. Really? The workers dont want to work. They sat on top of our paper work and didnt do anything! The workers do not care about you or getting your love one's out. The manager Zina she makes it seem like she care but really she pushed us aside as well. I was up there 3 days had all the family tree, phone numbers, we got the co-signers all that on day 1, Day 2 i called at 8am oh we reviewing this case, 10am oh we still reviewing this case, 11am we still reviewing, so i got in my car went down there and they havent even LOOKED at our paper work, sat there from 12-5pm only to tell me that one of the co-signers didnt sign 1 paper took the paper to her she signed it, and we also needed phone numbers for the family tree jobs, ok, got all that in on day 2, Day 3, they needed ADDRESSES to the jobs, now they did not mention this on day 2, Day 3 got up there at 9am sat there, one phone number didnt work, call that family memeber got the correct phone number that was at 10am i got that number gave it to them. I watched the lady sit there and didnt call the number for 30 mins....I was the only person in the office! The manager Zina said this was all we needed was the 1 phone number. The owner had to approve all this he/she is not there. The owner didnt get there until afternoon for him to sign off on the bond! I was so pissed! it took 3 days to get approval on this bond. These people were very rude and wanted to double the bond before I signed the contract. They do NOT work with you and expect ALL your personal information including EVERY family member that is living. They do NOT communicate with each other and want to pass the buck when they tell you to do one thing and it is incorrect. They NEVER emailed the contract but was more than happy to debit my credit card before anything was signed. They are absolute crooks. They do not help the client and they are very RUDE! read more

I just bailed a family member out of jail, right from the start they act nice and persive to be a kind and helpful business. It's been a week into the bail process and they are now saying I never took paperwork, I called and the story changed to "oh we got it but its not to visible." So this leads me to believe they probably lost it, they said they put one in the mail, please sign and mail back... I called in to make a payment and they transfered me to 4 different representatives and then told me call back in 5 min, which then turned to 20 and so on and so forth. When I finally got a hold of them she asked me how much i was going to pay, I asked how much do I owe and she told me i dont know call back and spk to so and so and disconneted the call. When I went in to pay the fees in person, the workers themselves seem to be part of the jail housing... they have no manners what so ever, are extremly rude and upright loud... I dont know... Im tired of having these companies walk all over there clients.. I would never recommend this company....I recommend you keep shopping around.. read more
