The solar screen in my bedroom has been repaired by handymen, friends and family at least a dozen times, but to no avail. The slightest nudge would have the entire roll collapsing to the ground. I got quotes from three vendors on Yelp and opted to work with ABC Blind because they asked the right questions and were so easy to work with. Two days later, Virgil showed up with the right part, right on time, slipped on his shoe covers and repaired the screen in under 5 minutes. I'd call that top shelf service. My mom and I stopped by the Costco kiosk and talked to you guys about the interest of having you do an estimate of all of the blinds being replaced with cordless and remote promotions that ran from 2/7-3/25/25 which was a 10% promotion. Apparently the next day we got no phone call or any response from you guys. It's frustrating to see what kind of company has positive reviews from other customers. My parents want to let you know... we are disappointed by the lack of communication from the owner and Erika the rep who was at Costco that day. Great experience. Phil, Bianca & Jason at ABC are great to work with. We got new windows & needed our existing duette blinds taken down for that, repaired (both got stuck after years of use) & put back up on our (window installation) schedule, a moving target! They changed dates & answered their phone every time I called-a BIG deal these days! Gave me estimates when asked & stuck by them. Also, I needed 2 boxed sets of new draperies & rods hung for the first time & Jason had the patience of Job, getting them just right since the window itself was a little "off", very much a perfectionist himself on getting it right, which I really appreciated. It took his time. Jason even tied the new draperies temporarily for me so that the top folds would hold their shape -he was GREAT. Nothing throws these people-when the blind doesn't fit (maybe due to new windows?), it will be corrected to fit, no big deal. HOWEVER, when they got here they removed and later repaired 3 faulty window blinds and then several weeks later re-installed them perfectly. Not only was she able to find the type of blinds I wanted for our odd shaped windows from the 60s, she recommended these solar roller shades that are perfect for Austin. My home builder chose ABC to install the blinds in my house. There are three windows that still need blinds so I tried to contact ABC to get that handled. Each time I called I got voice mail (during business hours) and when I left a message, I never heard back. If it's that hard to get with sales, I can't imagine what it would be like to get through if there was a problem. I think not answering your phone when you have half a dozen people in the office with phone extensions (according to the voice mail) and then not returning calls to interested customers is just bad business. I gave an extra star because I actually like the blinds the builder chose. I will obviously have to match them from another source though. read more

Caution / Beware. Purchased a part to repair blinds with the assurance and understanding if unused I could get a refund. Upon my return to store for refund, i was told there was a restocking fee. I insisted upon a complete refund given I was assured of a refund; there was no posting of a restocking charge; and the receipt did not indicate a restocking clause. So fast taking money, but extremely slow for getting their job done. You will have to call them up constantly if you want them to get it done in time. The workmanship is below average at the best, and you'd better off not expecting any customer service. You MUST be present when they come out and work on your window if you don't want them to mess things up. Their installation staff doesn't care about your house, even though they drill many holes in your window frames. For my cases, it took almost two months to install 3 solar screens and 8 other insect screens. Worst experience ever for such a simple job. read more

Jenny was AMAZING. She followed up promptly after my initial contact, and gave me an estimate after I visited their showroom. Shortly after my visit to the showroom, Jenny followed up with a visit, swatches and faschia samples for my windows. She helped me make decisions on colors and designs that would compliment my furniture and small space. I was told that the turnaround would be 3 weeks, but here we are, 13 days later and my roller shades are up. The installers were also very prompt, courteous and efficient.
