They did such a great job, I had them paint a bedroom and two bathrooms in my home. They use Hirshfield's paint, which provides gorgeous color and coverage. One bathroom was a dark, slate gray and another an eye-watering turquoise (my selections from a long time ago). The light gray they are now is gorgeous. My painter was neat, professional, and carefully protected carpet in the bedroom. I highly recommend FreshCoat Painters!

(I wish they had left a gallon of Goof Off Ultimate Remover.) Lowlights: Expensive! (You don't always get what you pay for.) Most of the prep work was dismal. Claimed to have completed the job when it was not yet done. Not consumer oriented Unprofessional Careless--left debris strewn about the yard. There are areas of overspray. The crew managed to splatter exterior paint on the interior of the door and trim. My security light fixture is covered in paint and the sensor pointed toward the heavens. This experience really made me wish my longtime painter had not retired. He was a craftsman of the highest order. He was meticulous. He always completed the job just as we requested. He excelled at his craft to such a degree that I was always happy to give him more than the estimated amount. We are in need of some interior painting. I had WOW out last week for a skim coating 4 walls in my bedroom and a popcorn ceiling knockdown…read more Was quoted and advised approx 3 extra hours for skim coating due to wallboard issues from wallpaper removal. Was told 3 days work. 2 coats of paint on the ceiling and the walls. The person doing the skim coat proceeded to skim over bubbled wall board paper and then pointed it out like it was my issue. I went and purchased the Zinser BIn sealer for him to use the next day. He was skeptical, but used it and it solved the issue, although he did have to sand and redo the skim coat. (HIS ERROR)The bubbles were evident BEFORE he started. In the end the charged me an extra 1000.00 and finished on time, but left 1 and 1/2 gallons of paint unused, and only started painting at noon on Friday. They were gone and packed up by 3:30 on the 3rd day. HOW is it possible they could have put on 2 coats of paint on the walls in 3 hours. Paint can states 4 hours between coats. Do not recommend this company

We contacted several painters before finally checking with Yelp and "Village Painter" got back to…read moreus within minutes and actually showed up to give us a free estimate. We had a few painters say they would show up to give an estimate and never did. So we were extremely happy to see some follow through. We had never hired a painter before so the quote we received was higher than we budgeted for. Because of the weather and the time crunch we were looking at, he lowered the price to a level we felt was fair. We had our house painted within 3 days from the time we got our free estimate to the day the work was finished. It only took 1 day to paint the front of our house and we were very happy with the results. We would hire them again for all future painting needs.
