My daughters have been going to ABC since they were born (17 and 14 years). What used to be a great place with great doctors has been replaced by a bunch of new doctors that are NOT kid friendly and an extremely RUDE front office staff (VERONICA). The billing department is also a joke! I am Self-Pay and pay the initial fee up front. My daughter was seen in April 2024 and I am still being billed 1-off charges for this appointment. I just called to make a wellness appointment and was told I needed a separate appointment to get a prescription refill (due to insurance) - I DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE!!! Not sure when OPTUM took over - seems like things fell apart with that transition. I then called a friend-referred doctor to make an appointment and the front office said they had never heard of such a thing!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! read more

This office is terrible now!! I never leave reviews for anything, but I am happy to make this exception. Since Optum took over everything has changed. The staff is extremely rude. Both the front desk and some of the physicians. If you are sick with more than one thing they will refuse to answer your questions and make you set multiple appointments. Also, plan on being lectured by a very rude collection of staff for not checking in on time if you are 15, not 20, minutes early because you stood in line for 10 minutes. Additionally, be ready to be told you should frequently check if your insurance has renewed their contract with Optum....not sure how they got this mindset, but apparently Optum thinks you should continuously monitor their inability to make deals with top 3 insurance providers. Also to top it all off, our child who actually measures just at or below average on all measurements was directly fat shamed by the doctor. Not sure why a kindergartner should be lectured about being fat...when they are in the 55th percentile... and the 50th for height...? Take your kids somewhere where they will be treated with a level of decency. read more

WARNING TO PARENTS REGARDING GLUTEN INTOLERANCE- DON'T GO HERE. My kids went to here for years. I don't know what happened to the staff & docs but we have made the decision to to leave for a better office. Our daughter was diagnosed with acid reflux & asthma at this office-when I made a comment to the Dr. regarding cutting gluten (not a food group) - She stated that at her age we shouldn't be cutting out food groups. Then she prescribed an inhaler that my daughter has trouble using because it makes her sick. So rather than medicating I decided to cut out gluten. Within 2 weeks the breathing issues and acid reflux were gone. My daughter's school required a form be filled out so that she could have gluten free lunches but I was told by the docs asst. that the doctor would not be signing any paperwork without a diagnosis- which she had already gotten. Frustrated, we decided to make another appointment to have an in depth conversation with doc that got us no where and she had no idea what EOS is. She also had very minimal information about gluten intolerance in my opinion. She agreed to write a letter which we had to pull teeth for and she said in order to fill out the form she put in labs requiring my 9 year old to have blood work done to check for celiac which is an unnecessary trauma to put her through for a non legal document-when we knew already how cutting out gluten helped her. ONE FORM that would allow my daughter school gluten free lunches!!!! DOCTORS AND PARENTS SHOULD BE WORKING TOGETHER FOR PROPER CARE FOR CHILDREN. It is bizarre that we would need to jump through hoops to have one single form filled out and that there was no support in this. I talked with a staff member who seemed to try to fix matters but when all was said and done- we were treated like another number. This office has spiraled into a non welcoming environment, unwilling to support parents to provide better Healthcare to children. Look elsewhere. This was problematic at the very least. read more

I just called to sign up and was told no "anti vaxxers allowed" all kids MUST get every vaccine on the market. No lie.... And I didn't even ask it was the first thing he told me. My kiddo sees Golda and she loves her. She's the best! We've seen other pediatricians here and they have all been great too. They're always on time and don't keep you waiting in the exam room for long but they never act rushed. A lot of other doctors offices I have been to could learn something from them. read more

My kids have been going to ABC Pediatrics since birth (for 16 and 13 years) and it feels like we are just a number on a paper. I have multiple gripes about ABC Pediatrics but will touch on the most current. The front office people are not friendly and not engaged anymore. They do not seem to enjoy their job in customer service nor people in general. Pro-tip: put on a smile, greet people and learn a few names. It could make a difference in someone's day. The last straw for me was the billing department: They are rude and assume right away that the customer is wrong and getting a strait answer on charges is a joke. I had to call multiple times and was passed around until finally I got a "vague" answer and was told it is what it is. I am self-pay so all charges affect my bank account directly and I like to know why the cost just doubled. I have been going there for 16 years and when I have an issue with a charge and delay in paying it they decide to drop me. After YEARS of good payments. Pretty sad. A $122 disputed charge will now cost them many referrals and bad reviews across the internet. Some of the doctors are good but honestly, since Dr. Childs left we have not been very happy. I am a loyal person and do not like change so I have been settling for years. They are all overbooked and you will wait a while in the waiting room- so plan ahead for that. Bonus, you get to look at gloomy faces behind a desk. There needs to be an examination of the office culture, and maybe a restructuring. ABC Pediatrics and Mountain View Med Group needs to remember that they are in the service business, we pay them a lot of money for bad service and there are clearly better options out there. read more

We just switched here with our boys (6 months and 3 years) and we are in love! The nurse we had was personable, knowledgeable, understanding, and quick thinking. We saw Dr. Hatch and were beyond impressed. He was great with the boys and answered all of our questions, making us feel like he valued each and every one. At our old pediatrician they cycled us through 3 different doctors, none of who did anything about a concern we had about our baby. Dr. Hatch immediately took action and solved the problem. Not only was he wonderful during the appointment, he took extra time afterward to get us information about our toddler's skin condition, unprompted. My husband and I are over the moon. We finally have a place we are thrilled at for our boys. read more

Absolutely one of the WORST pediatric offices in the area. I had to fight with them to get my own child's immunization and health records. They treat you like you are trash left behind by a previous patient. No one in the office cares about children at all. They removed ALL of the sitting area toys and entertainment for you children in the waiting room... ITS A PEDIATRIC OFFICE. There should be SOMETHING for a child to do in the office. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Treat you like you dog begging for food when you are just trying to prove your child had immunizations. Purposely trying to prevent parents from putting their children into any kind of day care or schools. Was seeing Dr. Sperando who was just NOT THERE ONE DAY. No letter... nothing. Had talked to her about having her be my second child (not yet born at that time) and she was "excited". Then breaks up with us with not even a dear John letter. From that point we were passed along to whichever doctor felt like seeing us and treated like we were a nuisance every time we called to set an appointment. I was treated terribly simply because I was crying on the phone after MONTHS OF TRYING to get documentation on my own child. Told me they would end the call because I dared to CRY! Heartless and soulless, they should not be working with children. 15/10 don't recommend. read more

It's Sunday at 11 a.m. North Springs Family Medicine, Alliance and Falcon UC are all closed today. Briargate Medical Center I thought still had an UC clinic so I walked the building and stumbled on ABC Pediatrics. My son needs to be seen today by someone and when I explained our case we were turned away and told to wait for Children's Hospital UC to open an hour later. Disappointing to say the least. I would have probably established care there as they keep good hours on the weekend (Dr. Pennie Schultz's office is closed and we like her). Being turned away because my son is not in respiratory distress (which is a call to 911 not a visit to UC) is ridiculous which is why this clinic gets one star and when no one else in the UC setting is open. read more

This office is wonderful! Golda Reisdorf is also a lactation consultant. Best physician I've ever had. She actually called to check on our child after his birth, and let us call her fell if we had any concerns. She always called or texted back. You can call the office anytime and there is an on-call nurse which is so nice. The on-call staff has gotten us through nights of being a first time parent and not knowing if something warranted an E.R. Visit. I'm sure they've saved us a lot of money! All the physicians are great. They are good with kids and take the time to answer questions. The staff is friendly. read more

I have been taking my kids to see Golda for about 9 years and she is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone. My kids love her and my husband and I love her honesty and willingness to discuss any and all concerns we have. The only complaint is the office staff. It always seems like scheduling an appt, checking in, etc is such a hassle to them. For instance, when they started going paperless on some stuff they just handed me a tablet like I was supposed to know what to do with it. And when I asked how to get to the forms they wanted me to verify, I was met with rolling eyes and sighs. So to Golda I would give 5+ stars. But the office staff have something to be desired. read more

Dr. Kim pushed ADD/ADHD medication on us and our son. My son has an autism diagnosis and Dr. Kim tried to lump all other diagnoses stating that of course he has ADD/ADHD and ODD they are CO-Morbid with autism. After the medication failure for ADD/ADHD, Dr. Kim wanted to keep our son on the pharmaceutical speed to control his weight. When we refused that is when he started treating us with passive aggressive disrespect. read more

But the front office is a bureaucratic nightmare of sloth, inefficiency, and general incompetence.The simplest form or piece of paper requires 1 to 2 business *days* to complete, even if they already have the information in hand. Coming in to pick up a piece of paper required a stop at the desk, checking-in (even though I didn't have my child with me) and 15 minutes in the waiting room -- and all this after they had called US to say the paperwork was ready. read more

Beware of the Administration fees and true reason they are in BUSINESS at this ABC and all of Mountain View Medical, they are the same thing. 3 STARs for the experience in the office and doctors. My great disappointment is in the medical group itself due to the outrageous "hidden" charges called "Administration Fees" Getting required state shots for school will end up costing you either 50 - 100% more in addition to the shot cost by itself. When I called to question why a visit came to over $550 there were $180 in these "administration fees" because of 3 shots given. The billing insisted that they are necessary to "compete" and cover their costs....most unfortunate that this is their priority....not the medical care. I asked why they are needed besides making a profit and it is also so the physician could be asked any questions about the shots. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I was told to tell the CEO of my dislike for this practice which I will but I want to make every parent AWARE of these hidden charges before they make an appointment. read more

My daughter saw Dr. Nelson, and as a provider myself, I was so shocked at how amazing she was. She explained all possible scenarios and treatment options. She spoke with both my daughter and I privately as well as together which I loved. She was thorough and spent almost an hour with us. My other daughter sees Dr. Kim and he is beyond amazing as well. He addresses your concerns and is very patient. He was the first to listen to me when I told him something was wrong with my child, did a myriad of tests and found the problem. What a blessing to have providers who care for your children and are so knowledgable. I also want to say the front desk is so accommodating and nice. They work with my schedule and find somewhere to put us with in a timely manner. I have lived all over the country and have never encountered such a great pediatric clinic!!!! read more

I had used this practice for five years with all three of my children. I am so sad to say that we did not end well with this practice. Our son was mis-diagnosed while there, to which I am grateful I followed my motherly instincts to pursue a second opinion at Denver Children's Hospital. It saved my son's life. Ultimately, we were not upset about the misdiagnosis. What we were SO bothered by was the lack of communication, follow up, and care that we did NOT receive from this practice as a whole. Our son was given a terminal diagnosis from doctors in Denver, and our local "family" practice did not even call us to say "I'm so sorry about this." OR a card from his team of providers with a simple "we hope your son get's better and we are here if you need anything." We are extremely disappointed with their lack caring for their faithful patients of 5 years. I thought we were more than a number in their practice, but I was wrong. read more
