I regret to say that our experience with ABC School of Driving was extremely frustrating and disappointing. From the outset, communication was unprofessional and rude. Every time I reached out, I was met with an unpleasant tone, which set the tone for the rest of our experience. One of the biggest issues was the constant switching of instructors. We were never assigned just one instructor for my step son, which caused a lot of confusion. Each instructor seemed to have a different approach to teaching, making it difficult for my son to grasp consistent techniques. Despite my requests for a single, consistent instructor, they were unable to accommodate this, and appointments were spaced over a month apart, which only delayed progress further. In addition to the lack of consistency, the instructors were often impatient, and when my son made mistakes, they raised their voices at him, which was not constructive. Instead of offering support, they seemed more focused on demoralizing him, which only added to his anxiety behind the wheel. We were also repeatedly told to practice more between lessons, which, while understandable, felt like a way to deflect responsibility for the lack of progress during the lessons themselves. Overall, I would not recommend ABC School of Driving to anyone looking for a positive, supportive, and consistent driving education experience. My son deserves better, and we have now found a different school where he can have one instructor, more reasonable pricing and consistency. read more

After not renewing my license due to medical issues which would prevent me from driving again, I found myself able to drive and starting from scratch to get my license again. It has been 10 years since I drove, so I chose a driving school that could provide practice lessons as well as the 5-hour class requirement, as well as speedy scheduling for my road test as I would be using their automatic vehicle rather than the standard I will be driving regularly. Johnny Scott taught an informative and thorough 5-hour class, and I was amazed to learn the differences in driving today vs. when I first learned 35+ years ago. Getting behind the wheel again, with Jamar Smith in a Kia Forte that fit my 5' frame perfectly, was not the nervous and intimidating obstacle I'd imagined it would be. Quite the opposite, I found I was comfortable and confident from the start, due a great deal to being entirely comfortable with Jamar, a young man with an understanding heart and great sense of humor. He has a foolproof method for parallel parking that was so easy to learn! I walked in without appointment for my 5-hour class on Friday, Sept. 11th; had a 90 minute practice lesson on Tuesday, Sept. 22nd; and passed my road test this morning, Thursday, Sept. 24th - less than 2 weeks after my 5-hour class. The Examiner said she wanted to learn Jamar's method for parallel parking, lol! I could not be happier with ABC School of Driving in helping me get licensed to drive. ABC school of driving has been an amazing asset on my journey to achieving my drivers license. As a 27 year old adult I was very intimidated by waiting so long to get my license. Johnny Scott was an amazing instructor. Very patient and understanding. High energy and also relaxed to learn driving with. With the purchase of my road test through ABC both times he arrived early before my test just to practice with me and give me tips securing my success in passing the test. Everyone I've worked with and chatted with at ABC are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this driving school! I had such a fantastic experience with them! I did the entirely of my lessons and road test during COVID times, and each of the drivers abided by the safety standards by wearing masks and thoroughly cleaning the driver's side of the vehicle each time. The two office staff I talked to were always extremely pleasant and helpful, especially Brittany! My lesson instructors were extremely helpful, especially Michael and Peter. I have had numerous lessons with the company and each instructor was uniquely talented. While I have had a few different instructors, I feel Peter B., Jennifer, and Johnny stood out the most . They were all exceptionally skilled and informative, making the process a breeze. I made a excellent decision when choosing ABC driving. I am 35 years old, and was terrified of ever driving due to being in a couple of bad accident's at the hands of other drivers. Johnny was my driving instructor, and he was so patient, thorough and made me feel comfortable enough that I was able to feel at ease behind the wheel, and am truly grateful for that as I thought I would never be able to drive. I took the 5 hour course today in there school located in Fairport. During the sign in process, I told the receptionist that i needed a road test fast as I was having problems getting to work. During the break, the instructor told me to call the main office and they had some good news for me. The receptionist that was at the school earlier had found me a road test on the following Tuesday. I was so surprised and appreciative. They really do help as much as they can! read more

The driving instructor Johnny Scott was absolutely wonderful!! We purchased the 3 pack plus exam pack. It's great because they picked up my son for the lessons, had him drive around, gave him "practice exams" and He passed his exam on the first try. I will say, that one of the instructors had a last minute cancellation, but after talking to the main office, they rectified the situation and got my son rescheduled the very next day! I absolutely love ABC driving school. I tend to get nervous very easily but Johnny was calm and made me feel comfortable while driving.
