Clemens General Store is adorable locally owned grocery inspired by the Mark Twain theme in…read moreHannibal. The store carries fresh fudge that I couldn't pass by. The fudge is delicious. You can pick up a sandwich at the deli counter if you want a quick lunch. In the back of the store, were locally made jams and pickles. Old time sodas filled a shelf. Candy by the pound covered a wall. The store was packed with food, candy and gifts. Prices were reasonable to high, but what I'd expect in a tourist town. The staff did not engage, but they were busy with other customers. There is free street parking, but that fills quickly. This is a great stop between museum tours.
