I'd managed to see a couple of animals (some Rotwild and Wildschweinen) but was thinking about having a beer somewhere not particularly enjoying myself when my path was blocked by a couple of large vehicles and a bunch of guys stood around with chainsaws looking (and I suppose in a way sounding) like a group of really bad guitaristsgiving some wood hell. The cacophonous output from this barrier was the final straw and I got out of there.

There's a season for this garden and it doesn't include late November. This deep into Autumn and…read morethe roses have shed their petals, the trees are mostly bare and the grass is not very green. Still, this is a really nice park and I was glad for the visit as I got to explore some more of Düsseldorf. Not big on benches and you're not going to be putting a blanket down on moist grass, but I can see this being a terrific spot for photo opportunities and portraits.
