We came in during a good time, where they were selling hardcovers for $1. That is a steal. We left with a big bag of books and entertainment for the road. A unique situation happened, as we were walking out I noticed a book that was displayed in the window so I missed it inside. We double backed, and this nice gentleman who seemed to be a regular offered to take care of it for me. It was really sweet. She made sure to let us know of any pricing and deals that were going on. There was also coffee to try! My partner and I had went to another store up the road and it was night and day experience - Hangar 209 was better 100%. Great customer service, selection, and overall vibe. I believe they even offered us free coffee and they are dog friendly so we were also greeted by some adorable pups! I love that and I especially love any space that makes our dog feel welcome. The vibe and aesthetic are relaxed and luxurious and it's immediately apparent that they're selling very good quality merchandise. I spent a lot of time looking at their custom shirts and sweaters and my husband spent a lot of time looking at their beef jerky. They have a local line called abduction jerky that had an amazing variety of flavors. On our first visit we were still checking out the downtown area so we grabbed some snacks and drinks and headed out but after touring the town a bit more and realizing what a gem this store actually is, we headed back before we ended our day so that we could pick up some more items. How often do you find a shop with ONLY 5 star reviews? This place is a gem. It really feels like they have something for everyone. If you're exploring the area and you're looking for a shop that's a bit more thoughtful, welcoming and well done, this is the place.
