This company rip the elderly off, they say that they have done things they have not, there charges…read morego up and up in price and they say they have been at a house for longer than they have. Please do not use this company for any elderly relatives they will rip them off, I am disgusted with the service they have provided and would not recommend them to anyone.

The owner Ewen Allan has serious issues and is a little Hitler of a boss with no regard or empathy to staff or customers. On his website he boasts of a professional gardening service with competitive prices. Well you would think paying his staff minimum wage would make it a little more competitive but he is the most expensive gardening service I know of. 3 men in an old rusty bucket of a transit will roll up at your door, last time I checked it was £75 an hour for this service, which gives Ewan Allan alone a £50 profit... per hour... per van, times that by his fleet of vans and he's taking in several hundred per hour. He is the only person trained in horticulture after learning his trade in Stratheden. He was caught running around naked in Ceres and got locked away, anyway this is not important and I am glad he made a full recovery. All his staff are fresh off the dole queue and have not one ounce of flower/gardening knowledge. This is Ewan's master plan thou, this way he can hire and fire on a regular basis especially winter time when he sacks around 10 employees. In his company's 12 year existence he has had around 120 staff. The man is a hoarder... a money hoarder. I do think it's a serious illness and I will give you examples. He charges his staff for PPE (gloves) 80p each in which he has already bought in bulk and makes profit from, he goes into the work vans on a daily basis taking empty Barr bottles and saves them up in which he takes to the shops to get the 30p from them, he "one ringers" his staff so they phone him back....saving him on a phone bill, everyday the staff come into craigrothie ready for work. If it's raining they are sent home without a wage for that day. Staff with bills to pay already struggle on minimum wage plus the zero hours contract nonsense. The staff work 10 hours a day and get an unpaid 30 min break a day, but this is when it gets interesting, the staff have this thing that they call "bump time" they go into gardens and say they were in longer, half an hour here and there makes up for long dinner breaks. Ewan is fully aware of this but chooses to ignore as long as the costumers pay, this is fraud and he is knowingly robbing customers of hundreds of pounds a year, a lot of them are old and frail pensioners. He is known for having masses of money lying about his house which is all tax money that he has not paid, as he does most jobs cash in hand so pays the bear minimum tax. His house went on fire and the builders fixing up the place after words found a bundle of cash (£4,000) in which they returned, not even a thank you or a small gift as a gesture. The man is a parasite and is sucking as much money away from everyone as possible and he needs investigated. The staff are encouraged to fly tip all shrubs and garden waste because he doesn't want to pay Fife council £200 a year to legally dump rubbish. You could say I think this company is a complete joke and I urge everyone to never go near this man for gardening services or employment. Tidy gardens.
