The front desk staff is very rude and just plain lazy, does not relay messages, no longer takes an order down - you have to talk to the fitter, but don't bother leaving a message for the fitter b/c front desk staff does not follow thru and will not relay the messages. The fitter blames the front desk, the front desk says they don't know how to take down an order. When I went in to pick up mastectomy bras, I was sent to an exam room for a fitting for either prosthetic leg or special order shoes- they don't look at medical charts - I had to correct her as to why I was there, and I have been coming in for almost 14 years. When I tried to order the bras over the phone, the receptionist told me "You'll have to talk to Hope, because, honestly, I really don't know what I'm doing" and then laughed. Now mind you, I had been ordering over the phone for the past few years - all they had to do is look in my chart like they've always done, then mail the items to my home, but the front desk people don't want to do that anymore. The original fitter is no longer there, and it's sad because customer service is now nonexistent (I've been yelled, then hung up on by front desk staff before), there is no communication between any department, no knowledge of billing, and no effort put forth by anyone to help the client. I know first hand that front desk staff readily blames the fitters, the fitters blame front desk staff - it's just bad business for a company to bad mouth the other people, call them by name, and air this out to customers, saying that so and so 'doesn't know what she's doing', and then readily admit to me that she's had 'many complaints', but yet, nothing is done! They are not into anything that would cause convenience to the client. The front door has been locked on occasion also, during business hours; I went there at 2:00 one afternoon and knocked on the door, finally went back to my car, and as I was getting into the car, the receptionist appeared, opened the door to yell at me, 'do you need something?', and when I asked if they were open, she said they were but she was the only one there, didn't feel safe by herself, so she had locked the door. Don't know how they are still in business! read more
