This is mostly a clothing store....but I didn't buy clothes, frankly the funky boho look isn't my thing. Why 4 stars? To put it simply....I am a purse whore. I love a well made, structured bag. A top handle satchel gets me all excited. Abitart is on a street with many bag shops, most of which are of questionable quality. The purses here are Italian made, good quality and very unique. Prices are very reasonable for the look + quality - under €100 for most everything. Let's put it this way...I saw a bag here....browsed in down the street, went in 3 or 4 other stores and came back here to buy. I bought several clothing items in December 2018 because I liked what I had from the store in the past years. However this time I was very disappointed. Two of the item also most expensive turned out to be of really bad quality. One is a coat with leather-ish sleaves and wool body. The wool part got really scratchy with the wool coming out. The other is a long blouse with a zipper in front made off multiple pieces. At the first wear, one piece got ripped off and it is practically unwearable. Unfortunately I cannot see a way to report these problems because the store doesn't have a way to contact it. Thus if you buy from them don't expect high quality just high prices. read more

I wore a dress that I bought at Abitart last summer to an event last night and received more compliments than for any outfit I've ever worn! I love this store. I want to go back to Rome just to buy more pieces! And I recall that the service was great too! I think I met Ms. Vanessa Foglia herself, and she was a ball of energy and smiles!
