Kids meal was great! Way too many chips but chicken tenders were yummy! Got the beef burger (bun less) and the steak was tasty! Partner got the chicken burger and steak with no complaints. We came here off season and enjoyed a snowplay day with the children. The Abom cafe was our base as the kids came in and out of the snow to warm up or eat and drink. I was ordering food and drink all day long and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of food and drink arrival. The person on the counter serving us was really nice and happily made changes to suit the kids food preferences. Our table was also cleared regularly. The restaurant is huge but tiered which creates nice cosy nooks for groups to gather on sofas or at tables for a more open, cafe feel. We sat right at the top level next to 2 huge polar bears that frames a floor to ceiling window where we took in the views of Bourke St and watched the kids zoom by. We left some items behind accidentally (as you do with kids) so I called them, and they were happy to post and I pay COD. That was such great service. We really enjoyed our day here. read more
