The issue I have is after meeting with him and being told that yes I have a case, and he could help me, I received his contract. In the contract is clearly stated that he charges $225 an hour billed in 10 minute increments. I emailed him asking if according to his own contract he charges $225 an hour billed in 10 minute increments, why was I billed $300 for 20 minutes. For over a month I couldn't get him to respond, the referring law firm couldn't get him to respond, and legal shield corporate could not get him to respond. In fact I did not get a response until 40 days later when I left him a voicemail, stating a complaint with the New Mexico Bar Association has been filed against him. Rather than apologizing all he wanted to do was insult me. This guy is a con man and should have his license revoked.

She persuaded Richards to act as counsel for the court appointed Guardian and Conservator so that he could bill them instead of her- kinda shady? Not the half of it. MANY thousands of dollars later (paid by my Mother in Law's account) my Wife and I won the challenge in District court (Pro Se, nonetheless) by asserting and obtaining a ruling that the Guardian agency, by means of Richards (who was engaged by a beneficiary, the Sister in law) held no standing to oppose the will and that there was no evidence to support the sister in law's allegation that there was no competence to complete it. Richards is the "low cost counsel" for a reason..... low cost results and questionable acts to have an elderly, guardian represented sweet old lady, pay for her own daughter to dispute her last will.
