Chicken Alla Vodka, entree was very good, nice mushroom sauce. There's also a basket of bread with butter that comes with the meal.

My daughter lives in Whitefish and I came to visit her. She mentioned having dinner at Abruzzo Italian Kitchen. We decided to split our meal, and we ordered the Chicken Alla Vodka with mushrooms. We split the dish since we weren't super hungry which was perfect. The entree was very good and would order it again. The decor inside is very quaint and welcoming. The service was very good .

Very nice Chianti we had with dinner

Amazing food! Great service! Atmosphere was nice and inviting and the space deceptively large despite what appeared to be a small entry--very cool! The Wild Boar Ragu was delicious, tasty, and the home made pappardelle pasta was superb. It is always good to make a reservation to ensure a seat!

Rigatoni Alla Vodka

We had such a wonderful experience at Abruzzo Italian Restaurant! The ambiance on the inside of the restaurant would've been desired but we did not have reservations so ended up sitting on the patio. The service was excellent, the food was exceptional, and the drinks were delicious. I had the vodka pasta, meatballs, focaccia, and a mule, and everything was absolutely fantastic. Each dish was flavorful and delicious, and we left very pleased with our entire experience. We will definitely be back if visiting Whitefish again!

We came back--and we're so glad we did! I was really excited to try their homemade pasta since we missed out on it during our first visit. It absolutely lived up to the hype--nothing beats fresh, homemade pasta, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful and unique, definitely not your standard red sauce. This time we went for the special Bone-In Ribeye instead of the strip, and it did not disappoint! We also had the local greens again (not pictured), which were just as fresh and delicious as we remembered. So happy we returned--everything was just as amazing the second time around!

We always stop into Abruzzo when visiting Whitefish, and this time was no different. While our visit was alright, we've had better meals and dining experiences at Abruzzo... To start, they were slammed (glad we had a reservation) and it was so loud in the restaurant... We could barely hear each other from across the table. Add in the drunk, loud, foul-mouthed California yuppies sitting behind us making a scene (whilst all dolled up like they're auditioning for a Yellowstone episode for Taylor Sheridan), and we were annoyed from the start. As for the food, we shared the calamari piccata and Cesar salad for starters, and both got the pasta with meatballs. The calamari was just ok (it was too heavy and greasy for our liking), the Cesar salad was excellent, but unfortunately neither of us loved our mains. The meatballs were way to heavily seasoned with black pepper and they had another spice in them that we just didn't mesh (not sure if it was thyme or sage, but it gave the meatballs a funky flavor that we didn't like). On a positive note, our server was great... Friendly, attentive, and prompt. Overall, Abruzzo wasn't bad but just not as good as usual.

Excellent service. Legit had an 8pm reso and were out after a salad, pizza & gnocci in 40 minutes. Got a dessert to go. Jason at the bar was a legend- amazing energy. Gorgeous restaurant and phenomenal prices. Whole meal was 86 bucks. God I love Whitefish!

This was one of my favorite restaurants to dine at during my trip to Whitefish. We made a reservation in advance for dinner on Sunday, and I'm glad we did since it was packed even though the restaurant is pretty big. We parked at the parking garage a block away and walked over to the restaurant. We had a large, comfortable booth that had a view of the pizza oven. The restaurant is dark and cozy inside. Our party split the local greens as well as the cauliflower starter. Everyone loved the cauliflower dish more, even though the local greens dish wasn't bad either. For my entree, I ordered the Rigatoni All'Amatriciana but I also tried the Roasted Chicken risotto. Honestly, these two dishes worked so well together. I liked my pasta dish, but the risotto was so creamy and the flavor was awesome.

What a wonderful Italian spot in downtown Whitefish! We've heard it gets quite busy but were able to get seated immediately at 515pm on a Monday - but by the time we left, they were definitely on a wait list. We started with two cocktails - which were delicious and refreshing after a day of hiking. Then for appetizers, we started with the elk tartar and the crab and tomato salad. The elk tartar was exceptional - hearty, salty and such fun treat. The crab was okay - but the star of that show was the heirloom tomatoes. They were so vibrant, flavorful and clearly very fresh. For entrees, we split the wild boar ragu and the gnocchi special - which was truffle. The ragu was truly the best - it was hearty, flavorful and tasted like it had been cooking all day. The gnocchi was great as well - they actual gnocchi was a bit big for me, but I like that it was also pan seared to have a bit more texture. The truffle of course was decadent. Our server, Eliska, was great! I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a nice dinner in Whitefish.

Beets, candied walnuts, and blue cheese salad...stunning! Fig cocktail in background

Wow! I'm visiting from NY and we know Italian...this place is fabulous! I had the fig cocktail (how often do you see that on a menu?), the beets and blue cheese salad (absolutely stunning), and the wild boar tagliatelle bolognese...fantastic. What was equally fabulous was my server, Hannah: she was so gracious, attentive, and hospitable. Will definitely visit this place again the next time I visit this beautiful part of the world.

Pesto Gnocci
Ari K.

Service was outstanding. Our sever was excellent. The star of the show was the gnocci. So fluffy and then toasted to give it that perfect texture. The pesto was rockstar. The veal chop was massive and sitting atop a bed of rigatoni. It was a tad salty, so some more marinara sauce would have been nice, but it was still very tasty.

Our family of three adults and a toddler came for Mothers Day dinner…read more We ordered three pasta dishes, a side of broccolini, tiramisu, and lemon marscapone cake. The broccoli was just a tad underdone to our liking but we were in euphoria over our pastas. My tiramisu was good, overly sweet and would have loved more of that bitter coffee flavor. The lemon cake was so good my son stole it from my mother in law. Our server was David. He was on fire, running in this tiny space to us and all of his other tables, making drinks, taking orders, etc. Chef PorkChop was AMAZING. The amount of communication, leadership, and attitude that man has is astounding. If our family finds any time out of our busy schedules, we will absolutely be back.

Definitely recommend a reservation because it's a quaint place and gets really busy on the weekends and peak seasons.

Really solid upscale mexican cuisine with excellent service! The restaurant is beautiful,…read moreespecially if you sit upstairs with open air dining during warm weather. The food is beautifully presented and I appreciate their mocktail options. I had the fish special of the day, which happened to be seared halibut served with their achiote rice and onion & bell peppers. The halibut was seared beautifully but imo, cooked just 1 minute too long. The achiote rice could use a touch more seasoning but otherwise the food was delicious and the service was so warm and welcoming.

We came here on a Monday looking for something open. The place is very nice, looks like a nicer…read moreresort and the inside is upscale and modern. The staff was nice and they were only seating the bar half of the restaurant. The menu is quite small with a huge tequila selection and some other cocktails. The pricing is pretty high and the food is definitely southwestern not true Mexican, which you can tell from the photos. We had the chips and salsa. The chips were definitely homemade and thick. The chips were delicious alone but I came with a green and red sauce. The green sauce was good, the red was okay and both were mild. For dinner I had the carne asada tacos and my dad had the pollo tacos. Each taco plate comes with 4 and you cannot mix and match. The carne asada was delicious. You could tell the meat was high quality and seasoned well. The tortillas were corn, but thick and delicious. I do not usually like corn but these were phenomenal. The pollo was okay, I wasn't a huge fan of the seasoning on the chicken but I do like that the portion of the meat was substantial. To drink I got their pineapple drink with vodka instead of tequila. It was good but small and almost $20
