We were offered a Fixed Price menu as well as the Å la Carte, I also noticed on their website that they have a 'Bambini' menu for their younger guests and a lunch menu. We ordered draught Peroni whilst perusing the menus which are quite large. It was noted that we could have ordered EVERYTHING! Finally though we settled on; Ribs in BBQ sauce, Gambaretti, Aubergine Parcel and a Caprese Salad to start followed by a Marinara Pizza, Chicken Rostico, Cod with Chilli & Sesame Crust and a Salmon & Puy Lentil Salad. All of the food was delicious and portions were generous. The ribs for instance could easily have been a main course with a bowl of chips! My nearest and dearest was a little disappointed with the amount of lentils in the Salmon salad but the kitchen quickly provided a small bowl of additional pulses on request. I don't normally order pizza in a restaurant but I was reassured that their pizzas are stone cooked and it was very enjoyable with a good quantity of quality seafood. The banquet was accompanied by a fabulous Pinot Grigio at a reasonable price. I thought it would be rude to order our favourite Chablis in an Italian restaurant - hehe! A thoroughly enjoyable meal was appreciated by all four of us and with our bellies full we headed for Fresh in Wood Street which is fast becoming our favourite bar in town. The menu is extensively pleasing, there is literally something for everyone. I had a venison dish of the special menu, the flavors were constructed very well. They have pizza, pasta, salads and main meat or vegetarian dishes. My wife had a great dish with pancetta, mushroom and truffle oil. It was perfect. They have Italian beer on tap, local beers in the bottle, Italian beer on tap and a great wine selection.

Generally plenty of street parking. The house made pastas are exceptional. I would order the pizzas, a little more overdone to make them more crisp - they are the Napoleon style thin ones. To keep this menu affordable, more standard ingredients are used such as hothouse tomatoes instead of heirloom. Regular fresh mozzarella is used instead of burrata. Standard sauces for seafood dishes are a bit on the heavy side.(meaning heavy cream, or lots of butter.) but you can request the pasta be tossed in olive oil garlic and parsley instead. The appetizer portions are generous making them excellent for a light meal.
