I purchased a Groupon for a full leg wax. The price was unbeatable, something like $17. Their normal price is still very good at $38. Other wax prices are $35 for Brazilian and $10 for eye brow threading. They Ruby was so polite and welcoming. She was fast and got every handled in a timely manner. My wax came out painless and smooth. They used a chocolate wax which made the brazillain painless. My eye brows are star quality. I will definitely be back for all services again. I also needed my eyebrows done but was hesitant to do them because the last place I went to took off half of one and I've been growing them out for 2 months since. I was helped by Farah who listened to all my concerns and was able to address them. I have very sensitive skin and the wax did not irritate me like it sometimes does. I've been here a couple times for a Brazilian wax. They were always painful as Brazilian waxes always are. Today, however, I went in for an arms wax. It was so painful. The worst part about Aby's salon is the quality of the wax they use-it sucks. Usually waxing my arms never hurts but every time she pulled it got worse and worse. At one point I even jerked my arm away and when I looked at my arm there was a HUGE bruise, and I do not bruise easily. The lady called me "healthy lady" which in desi terms means fat. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because they are SUPER reasonably priced. Worth it for the Brazilian. Maybe it was just one bad experience. Just be careful when you go. read more

However, I decided to try it today, and it was a good experience. I told Aby I was nervous since it was my first time threading, and she said she will be gentle. I was still worry and kind of was bracing for the pain as I sat in the chair with fingers on my eye and other hand on my forehead, but it turned out not to be as bad as I thought. There were a a few times where it was kind of like a white pain, but most of the time, it was actually bearable and soft/therapeutic in a way. I even asked Aby to do threading on my lips as well. I decided to go to Aby's Salon because of the really good reviews and it was super cheap! There's this saying, "you get what you paid for." This saying is very accurate. The ladies were really welcoming but their service needs more work/practice. No complaint about the eyebrows threading. I would only come back for that reason. Lip waxed and I had to tell the lady she missed a few spots so she had to go back and thread it. Tinting was really bad, I had to tell them to remove it. Under arms was HORRIBLE! This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and it was a fantastic experience! Price: $5 for eyebrows threading; $3 for upper lip. They offer a frequent user punch card where if you get your eyebrows threaded 9x, you will receive your 10th one free!!!! I was served right away when I walked in and it took less than 10 minutes. Though the service was performed very fast, the lady that did it was extremely thorough. It didn't hurt at all (contrary to waxing!). I was very pleased with the results (I asked for a clean-up) and my eyebrows look pretty damn good. The price was extremely cheap too; if I had gone to a salon for a wax, it would have cost me $10+ and great pain. :-( I'd recommend this place to anyone - if you check in on Yelp, you also get 1 free eyebrow threading! It doesn't hurt that there is a quaint Indian-Pakistani bakery right next to the brow shop, so you can fill your stomach before/after the threading. read more

Went in for a Brazilian wax . THEY USE SOFT WAX ! I do understand some people prefer soft wax , however soft wax you cannot go over the same area twice . During my wax the lady went over the same area 2-3 times using soft wax ! The price is nice the staff friendly however the wax was horrible . After the wax they didn't wipe the area (I was bleeding ) she didn't wipe with aloe , not even a wipe just sprayed oil on open pores after a fresh wax . read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A BRAZILIAN. Upon getting into the establishment it didn't seem like anything bad or out of the ordinary, but as soon as I stepped into the back to get my brazilian, I could tell there was something wrong. She heated up the wax, and double dipped the same stick FOR THE WHOLE BRAZILIAN. Since I'm used to EWC I didn't think she would do that until I realized she was actually doing it. I even told her that she wasn't supposed to that and she had the nerve to tell me that they use different wax for different people, but I checked out her stash of wax, and this one seemed low because they use the double dipped wax ON EVERYONE. I went here for a Brazilian wax (was being cheap) Usually I go to European Wax Center but I stumbled upon aby's & thought I had found a gem. The lady who waxed me went over the same spots like 5 times. Repeatedly over & over. Afterwards I go to the restroom & to clean up. Everything looked fine. Days pass & I start to get these bumps, irritation & itching . I start to freak out & googled it. They said it was normal & would go away. But it looks hideous. I went here for a Brazilian wax because it was super cheap on groupon ($16). The salon was really cute and the workers there greeted me nicely. The wax itself was pretty painful. I have had a soft wax massage before, but it did not hurt like this. My waxer did not do the tricks that you can use to make the wax better. However, it was over in no time - less than 10 minutes. It was extremely bare minimum; you get nothing but the wax itself and a little wax remover when you are done. I came out of it sticky and uncomfortable, but honestly it was what I paid for. I would have been totally fine with it and probably gone back because of the cheapness if that was the only trouble I had. However, the rest of the day I had weird itching/burning in that area. I bought tea tree oil and lathered it on which seemed to help a little. Then, while applying the tea tree oil, I noticed stray hairs over the front of me. I plucked them out and continued. Now it is the second day. I just took a shower and can see everything. There are missed hairs everywhere. Long dark hairs are covering one side of my bikini line and most of the back was missed entirely. I am covered in red dots from when I bled in small bits during the wax. All in all, if you want a Brazilian, I recommend spending a little bit more money and going somewhere different where it is done properly. read more

Went in for a Brazilian($16 w/ Groupon but they offer same price in store), I used to work for EWC so of course I got any service you can think of there by some of the best waxers so I know how it's suppose to feel & the whole process. I'm used to the hard wax & was a little skeptical about trying the soft wax but I love it! Painless, quick & to me it pulled more of the rooted hair out.
