They do not direct bill, but are clear as to their charges. Honestly, if it wasn't for this place, my health wouldn't be as great as it is now. I am ever so thankful for my visits and my physiotherapist, Elizabeth, is great. My partner has also been here to see a couple of different staff members with good results. I was recommended this place by a few coworkers. My favourite massage therapist is ill and can no longer work. I booked an appointment with this place and was told to book with Kara. Done. First of all the massage started 15 mins late. She took me to my room and had me wait on the bed for that long before she came back. Within 5 mins of her starting she asks me about me sex life. I was very stunned! She didn't even apologize or backtrack, she was totally serious about it. She then proceeds to share inappropriate things about her own and goes into explicit detail. I really didn't know what to say or do at that point so I froze. I went in for a 45 min massage and came out 80 mins later due to her constantly talking and not tracking time. I even told her I had to leave soon in hopes that she'll speed up but didn't happen. It wasn't until I got off the table that she clued in that I needed to leave. The good thing is that she didn't charge me extra but that's about it. She also did not know how to properly navigate her own computer so tracking insurance took forever too. I am still in utter disbelief with my experience. I have never ever experienced unprofessionalism to this extent. I'd understand a bit better if I were a long term client and friend however, I was a FIRST time client. Sad thing is this is one of the owners. I have spoken to a few people who have been there and have said they aren't surprised and have had similar experiences. I guess she does this normally. A former employee of the business also said they are very unsanitary and do not change the bedding in-between clients or sanitize the place. YUCK! Not a huge fan of acupuncture (bad experiences before) but for some bewildering reason I respond really well to IMS treatment like dry needling (Like the old Buckleys commercial "it hurts, and it works") Most of the time I go for needles it basically fixes my muscle issues like the next day (unless it's really bad maybe another treatment or 2) Man I'd be so messed up without this as a last resort when chiropractic or massage attempts fail to bring relief (the cons of being hyper flexible lol...) To his credit, the owner was friendly and appeared knowledgeable while doing his assessment on me. However, the service all fell apart when he then delegated the work to his assistants-a collection of apathetic, 20 something undergrads who cared less about care than rushing though a demonstration exercise so that they can get back to their social media. The 'sweatshop' atmosphere of the therapist working with 15-20 patients simultaneously, didn't exactly put me at ease of getting hands on quality care. I also understood that the most important part of recovery was to do the recommended exercises prescribed by the care-provider independently. However, the generic exercises he gave me to do at home appeared to aggravate my injuries further. When I attempted to contact the therapist by phone to ask for guidance, I was told he would get back to me ASAP. He called 2 weeks after my initial call. By then, I was already involved with MOMENTUM Physiotherapy recovering nicely(See my review). To sum up, my experience was awful in that instead of receiving care for my injury, I was being processed like a piece of meat going through an assembly line, where squeezing as many people into a workspace supersedes actual care.

I called and they were able to book me the same day, which I was extremely happy about as I had to leave town for work. I was very impressed by Joseph, his demeanour and his ability to make me feel assured that I would heal in time. He listened to all of the the information leading up to the injury for two years and explained exactly what was wrong as I did think it was a torn meniscus, but it was actually my MCL I had torn this time. His thorough examination and plan for me made me happy and hopeful for my leg to heal properly and be good as new. Very grateful for the care here. I look forward to working with him for the next few months. He was very soft spoken and charismatic, as all the staff seem to be here. Thanks for making a tough couple days better.
