I preordered my Acai bowl immediately when I got off my metrolink train. I ordered the Cali Bowl. Once I reached the store, I was greeted immediately by one of the staff members. I let her know I was picking up an online order. It was ready before my arrival. I had a thought to eat my bowl at the beach but it was windy & also didn't want seagulls to attack my food .. Anyways I decided to eat my bowl right outside of the store. They have stools and a bar style table available for you to enjoy your food. I received a reusable insulated bag with my order. The regular size was quite filling so I ate half then an hour later finished it while chilling at the beach.

Went for a walk at the pier and when we walked back to the car we got a flyer for Açaí republic. Decided to then go get an açai bowl. I got the Cali bowl and the person was helpful. I like their menu and it was hard to decide on which one because they all sound great. Would definitely come back again. They have tables and you can also sit outside.

Super delicious bowl. I got the Cali Bowl and it was delicious. The ambience in the restaurant was super beachy and chill. The service was super fast! I wasn't sure which base I wanted and he let me sample two different kinds. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed them and would definitely recommend. It is a little bit pricey, but so is everything these days, am I right?!

We had cash and said they would not accept cash so we had to wait for someone to bring us a card then they started making our drinks. 20 minutes after that they came back to the front and we told them that someone is coming with a card and then they said "well we accept cash but card is preferred." We then paid with cash and got our smoothies. Let's just say they tasted horrible. They were watery and tasted like medicine. So if ur looking for a açaí or smoothie place don't go here!! Also 2 small smoothies were 20 bucks!! Not worth the money at all.

I order fresh OJ from here pretty often. It's not cheap, but a good size and tasty, so it's worth the splurge; however, last time I ordered, you could tell it was bottled juice and not freshly squeezed. I had bought one the day earlier and had a little leftover, so could easily compare taste and appearance to see it was definitely bottled. At least explain this and have the offer of a refund/credit instead of trying to pass off fresh for bottled juice. read more

Five stars all the way. The nicest, most patient guy worked the front today. We came in an absolute hot mess with three tired kids straight from the beach, and he could not have been more kind. He took his time, let us try samples, answered all of our questions, and never once made us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. That level of customer service makes such a difference. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend. read more

Terrible customer service. I asked for our smoothies to be remade with juice instead of coconut milk because the smoothies had no flavor and the employee's "boss" refused to remake both because it "wasn't their fault" that we wanted to have the smoothies remade. Very disappointing. -- we threw away the two smoothies that were made poorly, for the record. read more

My wife and I stopped in to Acai Republic over the weekend and had a very nice experience. The gentleman working (didn't get his name but he is from Brazil) was very nice and went out of his way to make it an enjoyable stop. He gave us a free bowl of fruit for our toddler and let us try a Brazilian soda. The bowls were good and reasonably priced. It was walking distance to our VRBO so also very convenient. We'd definitely go back if staying in that neighborhood again. read more

This location is great!! It's right next to Domino's Pizza on El Camino Real! It's nice you don't have to deal with down town parking to get an Açaí bowl now. I have tried almost everything on the menu since they have been opened and I haven't been disappointed once. Leticia and her team are all very friendly and definitely fit into our small town vibe. Who doesn't love a good acai bowl?? Acai Republic is the real deal. I had the medium and it was perfectly satisfying. Lots of fresh fruits, granola and the star of the show is the acai. They are located in the north end of San Clemente next to the Dominos pizza. The vibe is beachy and the service is always so friendly. Very prompt too. I have also had their cappuccino coffee and it is splendid. Just as good as any barrista would prepare. You will love this place!! read more

The acai bowls here are so amazing , and better than other options in the area. The acai mix is thicker than other bowls that I've had which resemble smoothies more than bowls. The service here is also so incredible. Charles and the other lady working today were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The location and interior are also very clean and new. The bowl person looked at me, walked away and started petting a dog in the shop. Her enthusiastically helpful nature is certainly something to be studied (that's sarcasm for those who missed it). Finally, an older gentleman approached and asked what I had ordered. A few minutes later I finally had my smoothies. Were they worth the 30+ minute wait and the parking lot game of Tetris? Not especially. Will I go back? Not likely. Had the Bowl Baroness been more helpful perhaps I would have left feeling differently.

The last two times, my request for no sweet potatoes were ignored, but I've been ordering it that way for almost 2 years. I did get a refund this time, but now that it's been three times in a row, I wanted to leave a review. I stopped ordering for a few months and was hoping the first couple of times were just a busy season or a fluke. The order isn't cheap (around $30 for a bowl all said and done on DoorDash) so hoping this brings some attention to the issue because I don't want to stop ordering from here since the food is so good when it's correct!

We ended up seating at the bar and left the booth for other parties. Love the teamwork, the staff were super stars doing a rush like that, let me tell you it PACKED HOUSE and we got our food and drinks on time, no one in my party had to wait to eat and I forgot to take pictures of my staff meals, only took mines and what I got for the table to share was a croissant french toast, which I believe was their special of the day. I got the chicken fried steak and the portion are MASSIVE!!! All of us took our food home because the portion size are insanely big and bang for the buck!! Great place to eat breakfast or brunch or even a 'Team Building Breakfast Time' LOL Just happy to treating out my amazing staff on their work. Izzy, you won't believe what just happened! I went to Acai Republic and OMG, it was like stepping into acai heaven! First off, the bowls were so colorful, it was like a rainbow exploded in my mouth! I took one bite and I was like, "Is this magic?" The acai was so smooth and sweet, I felt like I was eating a cloud. And the toppings? Don't even get me started! They were piled so high, I thought I was climbing Mount Everest! The staff? They were so nice, I wanted to invite them to my birthday party!
