This company handled a medical bill incurred by my wife for a Dr. Allen Koenig at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, CO. The first complaint I have about this company are their hours. The bill says to contact the billing office Tuesday through Thursday. How is being open three days a week even a viable business? There is no pay online option, and repeated phone calls to the listed number went unanswered and not returned. As this was a medical bill and therefore a rather significant amount, having an office not only closed on Fridays, the most common pay day for workers, but also the following Monday is ridiculous. Other bills, with infinitely better systems setup then took precedent and this bill fell to the back of the line out of necessity and frustration. Due to this I then received a third notice stating action would be taken in 10 days if payment was not received. If you are "open" three days a week and never answer or return calls, I'm certainly not going to trust you with a check over the mail that may sit who knows where for an extended period of time and might be subject to theft. Due to the use of this billing company, we will no longer be seeing this physician or any that use this service. read more
