Chris was very thorough and and pointed out some minor issues along with a possible safety issue. Our salesmen met with Chris and told me he was one of the better inspectors he had met. Bottom line, Chris pointed out the issues to us and the RV Dealership addressed the issues. Chris provided us with with a 110 page report that included 189 inspected items, 68 photographs and 1 video. It said that the engine was a 2018, when it was actually 3 years older. Then, when I actually had made a deal with the salesman, and he printed out the pricing that we agreed on, I thought that would be what I would pay. NOT! I had the boat on their trailer, ready to be delivered to my house, and was sent into the office to have the paperwork completed before I went to get the certified check. The pig behind the desk handed me paperwork, and it said that I owed over $300 more than what the salesman's printout said! I showed it to the pig, he "oinked" back that even though the printout WAS PRINTED BY THEIR SALESMAN, IT WAS INVALID BECAUSE THE SALESMAN DIDN'T SIGN IT!! Well, the boat was already on the trailer, and I did want the boat, so I paid the extra blackmail money. These people are scum. There are plenty other places to buy a boat in the area; stay away from these thieves and blackmailers.

When I got the boat back they had serviced the engine, removed all the old fuel and 1/2 refilled with non ethanol. What Really caught my eye was Matt had taken it upon himself to do a couple of extra small things:1) repaint the skeg 2) install a rubber cap and zip tie on the oil drain tube and the shaft. The cap wasn't even on there new, so it says volumes on the Attention Matt does his job. The only guy for me from now on! GREAT JOB!

This seemed very high to me, so I called other marine repair shops to compare cost for the same job. I was given an estimate of $500- $650. Riverside explained to me there were some bolts that were rusted that needed replacing, and the labor was $560 because of their skill level. I believe they charged me for two hours extra labor . They also charged me for the following parts - locknut $ 17.82, bushing $27.32, and miscellaneous shop supplies $17.73. I will not be taking my boat to Riverside Marine again.
