This is a tutoring center for school aged children. They offer tutoring in language arts, reading,…read morewriting, TOEFL, SAT and debate classes. They can basically tutor in most things that you want. Classes range from one hour to an hour and a half. They are open all week and most classes are after school hours. Most children getting tutored are Korean. Skype classes are also offered. Most classes are one on one, a few are in a group setting. Classes usually still meet over school breaks. Adult tutoring can be arranged as well. Overall, a pretty good setting to get tutoring for K-12.

We had been hiring tutors through Tutor Doctor for our high schooler. Often, the tutor doctor…read morecontact person (John Gutkowski) would provide us with an invoice for several tuition sessions which we would then pay in-advance. Early last year, John sent us two invoices for $900 and $2352 that we paid. This provided us with over 50 hours tuition sessions. Our son did receive tuition for half the amount of time we had paid for during the Spring semester of 2023. When the Fall semester started, we tried to contact John by both email and phone to arrange for the remaining half of already paid for tuition hours. To our surprise, John had somehow cut-off contact and was unreachable by neither phone nor email. From there on, we have made at least 6 calls to Tutor doctor central office since August 2023, but we have always been given a run around with the promise that someone would reach out to us to sort out the issue, but no one has ever contacted us. Our son is now graduating high school this Spring, and Tutor doctor still owes us about $1556 in paid for tuition hours that they are unwilling to refund us.
