My first phone call to this company was so frustrating that I hung up the phone on the man I was…read moretrying to set up a new homeowner insurance policy. He was impossible to deal with, all he did was tell me how each thing I was asking about could not be done. I had called asking to speak with a certain person and he kept telling me that she was not in the office and was not available. He never asked to transfer me over to her voicemail and when I explained that we were buying a certain property and I wanted that same insurance coverage that the current owner had. I was met with nothing but resistance saying that he could not discuss another person's insurance with me. I wasn't asking for him to discuss their policy with me, I just wanted the same coverage. He and I went back and fort with nothing but negative responses to absolutely everything I was trying to do...which was...to write a homeowner's insurance policy. Finally out of frustration, I hung up on him. I finally was able to contact the woman I was asking for and she let me know that he had told her about me. I am certain she got an earfull. She was ok with me but our communication was always via e-mail as she never returned my calls. She did write a policy, which seemed to be ok until we made changes in the ownership of the property. Then it became very complicated and since my daughter and her husband were part of the ownership of the home, they decided to go with their insurance agent who wrote the policy in no time with no issues. I do not recommend this company based on my personal experience. I found them to be difficult, not the least bit friendly and seemed to make things far more difficult than necessary.
