My wife has severe reactions to chemical fragrances like the ones used in air fresheners, bathroom deodorizers, even fabric softeners. A new study from the University of Melbourne suggests that fragrance sensitivity affects so many people that it could nearly qualify as an epidemic. I am furious with my doctor, Sean Bogle and the total disregard he and his staff showed my wife Marie recently. Dr Bogle has been my primary care physician for the past 3 years and we got along, I liked him very much. Marie wanted to get setup with the same office because it is conveniently close to our home and we needed to both get a referral to a specialist for other services. When she went to their office after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment she was immediately affected by the strong deodorizing agents in there to the point she waited outside after signing in. It was 32 degrees and spitting snowflakes yet she was willing to stand out there until her turn to see the doctor. Soon, the office manager informed her that Dr Bogle said she might be better served going elsewhere for medical services. Really? I was so furious upon hearing this I immediately went down there and requested my records and will seek out a new doctor even though I'll have to drive 25 miles to do so. It is inexcusable that people in the medical profession do not understand or care that the unnecessary fragrances they use can have serious medical implications for such a large segment of our population. Often times people with COPD or asthma or some other condition will suffer in silence because when they have brought it up in the past they just get a stupid uncaring non-response.

I talked to two or three different clinics in the area and they all had higher self pay prices and told me they couldn't get me in for at least two weeks. Mary not only has the most affordable prices but was able to get me in right away. I was already impressed by that before I came in and after my first visit, I'm even more impressed. She is SO kind, right away, as soon as I walked in, she was genuinely interested in me as a person, not just a patient. She took the time to visit with me and get to know me and listen to what I had to say. She made the appointment feel so relaxing, as if we were talking in her living room as friends and not in a clinic at all. I normally feel nervous and can't stand going to the doctor. I didn't feel nervous one time with Mary and I think I'll actually look forward to my appointments for the first time in my life. If you're looking for affordable, easy going, and a care provider who truly cares about you, this is your place. :)

This office is packed with people and if you're lucky you'll be seen in an acceptable amount of time. (There is even different waiting rooms. You'll sit in one at first and then a second next.) Dr. Radkey will refuse to allow you to talk about more than one medical issue per visit, so be prepared to make multiple appointments and pay multiple copays if you want all your problems addressed.
