At the moment they include and up-side down mannequin wearing a dress and it looks cool. I was a little disappointed when I went in though because it essentially has the same stock as the street vendors in the market but you can try the own and it isn't open to the elements. The clothes are nice though, despite being a fraction of the price 5 minutes away; lots of pretty cotton dresses with lace or embellishment detailing. The average price for a dress is about £50 though which is quite steep.

The range is targeted towards the 15 - 30 female age group and the various pieces are very cool and chic. The staff are great and really seem to know the brand which is quite refreshing. When I first looked around the store, I thought the pieces would be more expensive but at £20 - £25 for a t-shirt and £12 for a cotton dress the prices are very reasonable for good quality garments. Brandy Melville is great if you are looking to inject a bit of Milan into your London look!

The store is cool The clothes are pretty basic, ok quality , definitely one size does not fit all My problem was with the prices and customer service I can understand that it is ok to pay $30 for a basic t-shirt in America but £35-£40 for the same tee in UK is not ok And they don't keep the shape after washing them - I understand if you are paying for quality at least after couple of washes the top should not be expanded to fit two of your size! The other problem is that the sales assistants knew nothing about the stock they have- I saw a dress on display and asked if there is other colours the answer was no Went downstairs to find it in 2 other colours ! The same happened with another t-shirt Don't know if this brand is up to all the hype that is spread online from American bloggers but honestly don't know how it is differed from anything you can get in Topshop for the same price, same ok quality, and same bad judgemental customer service

Everything has quite a bohemian and colourful style to it and some of the fabrics are just beautiful. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. They have some cool accessories as well, the scarves and hats were really cute. Maribou fits perfectly into the Portobello market theme of a slightly bougie "DIY or Die"…read morementality. Everything is brightly colored, bohemian seeming and individually made. The accessories are gorgeous and the scarves have the most amazing patterns. The clothes are all very feminine and provides a great alternative to the other shops in the area. However, I found it a bit overpriced for some of the items. Although the scarves were nice, I found a skirt that was essentially a mangled pair of Gap jeans (inside tag) with brightly colored ruffles attached to create a new hem. Really? If I wanted to do that, I could make that skirt very easily and not have a price tag of 30 GBP. Nice service and nice atmosphere, but I could do with less expensive clothes.

I am not a huge fan of this mall in general, but this is one of my favorite stores in London. One thing I noticed is that the exact same items are sold in both stores, but the prices can and could be different (the stores are just one floor away). It might be wise to check if the item is carried at the other location before you commit to paying a certain price - or perhaps this was just a fluke I noticed.
