Ok these guys are not as cheap as your wife's Brother In Law's cousin but…read more..... This is the 2nd time in as many years that we used them. This time it was a rush situation for our Open House. They sent "Lon" out. Hope that was his correct name and this guy was as good or better than the two guys who came out 2 years ago. Very conscientious , helpful and really helped us cover my Buckeye Scarlet And Gray room back to a attractive, sellable bedroom. A light neutral color, he had to work to cover the Scarlet. Sadly he did a great job no more Buckeyes but a great 3 BR Condo in Grove City For Sale. I need to mention that originally I contacted Jenifer in her office her guys were booked and she apologized. On her OWN time, she checked some of her other offices, and found Patrick who got to us quick and got us done as promised. Not to crazy about their several paragraph contracts, but I suppose John Q Public can be difficult, if not spelled out for any concerns after the fact. Thanks Certa Pro and ask for Lon.

What happened to this company? I was very pleased with my first experience, and spent 10k on a huge…read moreproject. The paint in some places started peeling about a year in. They came back to repair the damage and ended up painting my deck THE WRONG COLOR. The deck was green. My fence is the white color you see. So...he sort of painted it white but I guess he got tired around the railing spindles. I am awfully mad because I paid them money to come back and FIX THE WORK THAT SHOULD HAVE LASTED more than a couple years, right? I guess the joke's on me.

They are my heroes!! Selling my house and my real estate agent told me I needed to remove a wall…read morewith wallpaper and paint the room. Also needed a ceiling painted. They were able to fit me in and get it done before my house went up for sale in 3 weeks! Good work and great price. Highly recommend.

I experienced very poor communication with Coat of Many Colors despite significant efforts (4-5…read morephone calls resulting in 4-5 voicemails) to connect with Mike Decker or any other company representative by phone or in-person meeting. In response, I received four sporadic text messages with no follow-up responses when replying immediately with follow up requests to connect by phone. On top of poor communication, there was a total lack of regard for accountability in my experience with Coat of Many Colors. A company employee who claimed to be able to provide quotes on behalf of the company, did just that: quoted the project (just a one-day front porch floor that my wife and I had sanded and prepped), aligned on a paint color, and provided an inexact timeline within the next two weeks when the painting would occur. Upon confirming the quote in person, I also called the company to do due diligence and make sure they had the info as well, in case the way it was quoted by an employee was not their normal practice. My call went unanswered, so I shared the details via voicemail with my contact info. Unsurprisingly, I was not called back. When the painters did not show up within the 2-week period, I called again (and was again directed to voicemail). The previously mentioned text messages that I received communicated that their employee "had no idea of the schedule" as if that let them off the hook for providing a quote and timeline. And the next text I received (6 days later despite outreach attempts in between via phone and text) communicated that they would not be able to do the painting until 6 weeks later. I recognize the company may be busy and that the employee who quoted the project should not have provided a timeline, but am significantly disappointed by the communication and lack of accountability from Mike Decker and the Coat of Many Colors to better resolve their error. As a final note, this poor experience is in no way a reflection on the painters themselves, but rather on the management and overarching communication.
