Please hire tellers who can effectively communicate what services you do/do not provide to…read more"non-fidelity" customers before telling them to come inside. I was told that they did not issue money orders via the drive true. That's perfectly fine. I was told I would have to come inside and nothing else. I go inside only to find out that they don't issue money orders to non-fidelity customers. Period. I said, okay that's fine. (If that's the bank's policy, fine, they're just doing their job and enforcing that.) However, when I make the recommendation that I would have preferred to have been told that rather than simply to come inside. I believe your management would find it more professional if you replied with something other than, "Well I'm not the one who told you to come inside." and "You can just go get a money order from Walmart." I want to clarify that I don't have a problem with Fidelity's policies. I have a problem with employees who use their company's "policies" as validation to be rude to potential clients.
