I had a really bad experience here. I took my Tag Hauer watch in 3 months ago to have the lunette repaired and was told it would cost 60€. The woman who was helping me would only address my husband, which was weird considering it was my watch. I actually had to tell her to look at me.
3 months later, I called them to find out what was going on bc I had not heard anything. I was told they would call me back that day, which they did not. i heard from them the day afterwards where they told me that the service point wanted to do a full service for 338 euros. I told them that I only wanted the lunette repaired, but apparently they had no control over what the service point would or would not do for me. I was very frustrated and told him to just have the watch sent back.
I went in today to pick it up and the same woman from the first time tried to charge me 50 euros for the cost of the estimate, even though the slip, which she wrote, said 30. I was pretty upset at this point and was offered no apology and instead was confronted by a very rude attitude.
Amsterdam has a lot better jewelry stores, so I would avoid this one!!
I now have a broken watch and am 30 euros lighter in the wallet. read more
