It is now run by Ms. Carolina Chan, the wife of the late Mr. Johnny Chan, founder and owner of the store. 2JC Construction Supply, located in Mayhaligue St., is a second branch run by their daughter, Janette. There are many construction and hardware businesses in the area, but their longevity and expansion is proof that they have a pool of loyal and new customers who are satisfied with the quality of both the products and services they offer. Divisoria businesses live because of loyalty or "suki" and their suki know that the store owners and management is very easy to do business with. Try them for your construction needs!
*Note: This is a 4.5 Star review…read more I'm excited to share that my "engagement house" renovations are speeding up and, yes, we started to shop for furniture/fixtures! Our architect was more than willing to help us out in purchasing what we need. He suggested that we go to his "Suki" store and ended up here. For me, I wanted to go somewhere where I go buy everything at a very reasonable price. Plus, we were recommended to go here because our architect has a membership card! 5% off is still a good discount! The warehouse is fairly small compared to the ones in Pasig. But, the selection they have are the reliable brands that come with a good price tag. However, they didn't have some brands that I wanted to buy. A bit inconvenient but I plan to just go to the main branch for other items. The one thing I didn't like was that, when we needed help, it took quite awhile for any staff to help us. Only when they noticed that we were buying in bulk that they started to eagerly help out. When their staff did start helping us, they provided useful, informed, and practical advise on which product to buy. In the end, we bought 3 sets of toilets and sinks, 2 sets of showers, my kitchen sink and other fixtures! After adding it all up with the 5% discount, we were ready to pay. Then, the manager approached us and offered that we pay Cash on Delivery. Whut?! That is unheard of but, of course, we accepted! This shopping trip really got me excited for the next few weeks! :D

My cousin, who's frugal like me, suggested that we look at SM Appliance Center. I appreciate that they have a good variety of well known brands, as well as a range of prices that fit into our budget. The staff are all helpful, pleasant and polite. I was able to find and purchase a ref, washer with spinner, double gas stove burner, and an industrial metal fan. They unboxed everything to check that all the parts were included, plugged them in to check that they were working, then carted all of our purchases to the car and helped us load them. Fast forward five months later and my washer breaks down. I kept my receipt, but it's so faded that you can't read anything except for the hand written letters and numbers on the back. Miraculously the Customer Service staff was able to locate our records and print out a "Certification of Purchase" to replace my receipt. A repairman was scheduled to contact me within the week to arrange a home visit. The repairmen (2 drivers, main repairman and 2 trainees) came 2 days later, ordered the replacement part and said they would be back next week to install it. They were respectful, well mannered and efficient. SM Appliance is the middle man when it comes to repairs, they are the ones who contact the companies. So as an appliance store, they do service all my household needs.

I love Ace Hardware!…read more Keep an eye out for their hidden bargains. I bought a pair of garden clippers that were returned because someone unsuccessfully tried to cut cardboard with them ( there was a small piece of it in between the blades): I bought it for 11 pesos!!!! The staff are very helpful and instead of telling you where to find something, many of them will either walk with you to the right section or get the item for you (TIP - you get better service if you're nice and befriend the workers). For the majority of my hardware and household needs I usually come here because they'll have the particular item that I am looking for.

There are about 5-6 different nurseries along Don Juico Ave between the white Lewis Grand Hotel and…read morethe green Euroasia Hotel. They don't have any signs to distinguish them; but you can tell which is which by the houses in the back of the lots. Jossie's Garden is on the end next to the Arena Plaza near Hotel Euroasia. Jossie is sweet, helpful and works within my budget. She sells tropical plants like anthuriums, bromeliads, birds of paradise, and hibiscus; you can find cold weather plants like roses; and also hanging plants. She even sells water plants for a pond; they're as big as cabbages that you see in the States! Pots, soil and rocks are also sold, as well as landscaping and garden upkeep services. She's available 24/7; if the gate is closed, just message her on her cell. Don't be a jerk though and call in the middle of the night. Now the prices along Don Juico are higher than other nurseries in Angeles City because they're in an area frequented by tourists, so keep that in mind. Make sure to ask when she'll be getting in new plants because that's when you'll see unique varieties. So, this is a good place if you're a collector, or if you know how to propagate plants (then you'll definitely get you're money's worth). I'm a frequent customer and am satisfied with the majority of what I've bought here. Jossie's usually has the best prices between the nurseries along this road. TIPS- always price check, prices can vary. Make friends with the owner, she'll give you a good deal and give you a heads up on incoming shipments. Plants that are in black plastic bags are much cheaper than the one in pots.

The nice thing about this branch is that they log and know how many product they have in stock. The property, along with the parking lot, is gated and staffed with security guards: no panhandlers here.
