Customer beware!! I reached out to Ace Machine by phone to get an idea about services, costs and timing. Jerry at Ace Machine was very polite and let me know that he was backed up about 1.5-2 months and would likely start after the 2022 holidays. I agreed and dropped off my 4.8 engine. What happened next is infuriating. In early to mid January I called Jerry to see where he was on my engine and I got the same story, still backed up with other projects etc etc, a few weeks later, same thing. When I called back in March, I got a snarky Jerry who said, you can come get your engine if you want so I did. My engine was wrapped up when I dropped it off, Jerry unwrapped it and took a look at it so he know very well what he was getting. When I picked the engine up, the engine was wrapped just like when I dropped it off but I made the mistake of trusting him, what I got back was a piece of crap engine block that he clearly swapped out.
