Short story: I didn't get to experience the workmanship of Ace Safe & Lock, primarily due to some pretty awful customer service from the front desk. Long story: I called to schedule an appointment far in advance, and the lady on the phone took my address and allowed me to schedule, but told me to call back closer to the date so that it could be confirmed. I thought this was a bit weird and thought that theoretically THEY would be the ones to call and confirm, but, I brushed it off and called back a few days before my scheduled appointment. The same lady confirmed my appointment and my address, and said that they would be calling me around when the locksmith was due to arrive. I asked if they had my phone number, but the number they had listed for me was incorrect. I then told her that it was the wrong number and tried to give her the correct one, but then she told me to hang on, and I could hear her tell another one of her colleagues to get my number, because she "didn't have the time to deal with me". That is not paraphrasing. That is a direct quote. A man came on the line, took my phone number, and then said that he would be the one coming. Well, my appointment time came, and no one showed up. I was given a window of a few hours, so when that window was almost closed, I called again and the same lady said the locksmith was running late and would call me when he was on his way. I never received a call, nor did the locksmith ever come over. That experience made me immediately get in contact with one of their competitors to get the job done. Customers should never be treated that way, and they run the risk of losing revenue if they continue to run their business like that. read more

I bought a used 23 year old Jeep 9 months ago and only got one key. I am a procrastinator and never had a copy made, so when I recently misplaced the key I was screwed. I tried calling the local Jeep dealers but all of them told me my vehicle was too old to cut a key with the VIN. The first two locksmiths I called didn't answer and I got voicemails. Ace Safe & Lock answered on the second ring and after checking a few things told me to come in with a title and drivers license and they would make me a new key. I did, and a half an hour later I had two keys for a very reasonable price. The lady who helped me and cut my key was awesome and knew her stuff.
