It is a form of psychotherapy in which the patient recalls distressing images while generating bilateral sensory input. Neurofeedback is a medication-free healing treatment for those who suffer from anxiety, ADHD, OCD, insomnia, etc. In a relaxed setting, it involves the patient watching (on a computer monitor) his/her own brain's activity. Susan Crews also works w/ individuals who may suffer w/ depression, anger, substance abuse, & numerous other mental health issues. Most health insurances are accepted. Call to discuss an appointment date & time; do NOT show up without an appointment as this therapist's days/times vary weekly. He is one of the very few doctors in Gainesville who is not part of a group practice. His office is open M-Th, and on Friday he volunteers at the hospice.
