The menu is bilingual. I had no problem ordering in French when I knew what I wanted. The waitstaff and owner were friendly and tried to switch to English when my French ran out. It is called a wine bar, but Americans would just think of it as a restaurant. my delicious main course was a local specialty, "brandade" made with cod, puréed then baked. they have a good variety of dishes, for starters mains and desserts. Service was attentive and responsive, not always true in France. Reasonably priced. classy ambience with dark, wood tables, maroon walls, and white painted brick arches overhead. I have no complaints and it was a pleasure.
