OK, this hotel is a local hotel with both rooms to rent and they have apts also. It is a typical European type hotel (not an American chain). The room is about 1/2 size of my bedroom and the shower was barely big enough to turn around. Oh yea, it had a one person patio with a chair. My biggest complaint is they have no Air Conditioning and it was in the high 80s. They did not even have a ceiling fan or a small fan to "loan" me. For those of you not familiar with hotels in Europe, they typically are very small and have limited amenities such as face towels, hair dryer, iron, ect. They did have a small microwave, TV, heating pad and refrigerator so that was positive. They do serve breakfast, but it is extra, and it is similar to a Holiday Inn Express breakfast. They have free internet, which worked fine.
I got to the hotel at 11:30 and they would not let me check in early. With the jet lag, I had to walk around the town for 3 hours before I could check in. It is in a local community so there are restaurants and even a grocery store within one block of the hotel. From the train station it costs about 10 Euros.
It was OK but not my type of hotel. read more
