Support staff of Sleep Science Center made serious mistakes in 2021:…read more(1) On my 2 visits out of 2 visits, the Center's support clerical staff INCORRECTLY typed my medications into UI Health's "MyChart" computer system, even though I always supply them a very clear up-to-date spreadsheet of my medications. For other patients, this chronic failure could be life threatening. (2) Most emailed notifications from UI Health's "MyChart" computer system failed to tell recipient (me) where to log in to read the notification contents. Other local medical systems do better than this. NorthShore University, Northwestern Medical, AMITA-Presence, and Rush University are not perfect, but they all do better than this. My Sleep Science Center doctor, who has been affiliated with UI Health for many years, seemed unwilling/unable to try to force improvements to the support systems, nor to extend his own medication-list oversight to prevent problems for his other, possibly less sophisticated, patients. (I am especially disappointed in my doctor, because I used to be pleased with him when he saw me at his now-closed stand-alone private sleep clinic.)

The husband is one of the more interesting people on the planet (ask him about himself) is an avid motorcyclist (actually a Harley mechanic), a CPA and attorney. His life partner and amazing wife is an LCSW and intuitive of such incredible talent that I'm astounded by what she senses everytime I am around her! Together they're the friendliest hosts on the planet and more interesting than any group you'll ever meet! I recommend this as highly as I've ever recommended anything! There is an inground pool that is incredibly well maintained just outside of the "speakeasy" which is an authentic recreation of the hidden, clandestine namesake that is gorgeous in every detail. Hidden within the speakeasy is a 'Captain's Suite' which is one of the most elegant, perfectly appointed bedrooms that I have ever been in. It is the ultimate in pampered privacy for anyone who wants to escape the madness and chaos of the world and relax in the safe comfort of a secluded world inside a secluded patch of nowhere. One of the advantages of staying here, or visiting for a workshop or meeting is that it is not an easy place to find. Most GPS will try to take you down Lilly Road as the last turn before you arrive at the destination. However, instead of turning right onto Lilly, continue straight on Lenz Road and continue to Muirhead Road where you'll turn right and continue until you find the address. It is a little hidden but the value of its obscure streetside presence will be revealed when you come upon the property. It is exquisitely secluded in a silent splendor all it's own and you can feel the "whoosh" of the energy of civilization exhausting itself from your energy field.
