Meet the Business Owner: Jim B.

I was born in Nebraska and grew up in Omaha. I graduated from Westside and UNO and have been married since 1982. After earning my MBA from UNO, I had the privilege of working with business owners in Southeast Asia, and enjoyed owning two businesses in New Zealand. I have had the rare privilege to work with, and own, a diverse range of businesses around the world - and with an equally diverse range of business owners, partners and associates. In my Business Career I have been involved in Restaurants, Software Marketing, Manufacturing, Recruitment, Training, Warehousing, Retailing, and Furniture! I have worked as both Consultant and Coach, as Trouble-Shooter and CEO. Before I joined ActionCOACH I was the owner / manager of four companies, and I understand the pressures, challenges and pleasures associated with being your own boss. Becoming a Coach has given me the opportunity to help small business owners achieve their dreams.
