What's not to love. I sent them a drawing of my proposed fence. They gave me an estimate via email. When the job was done, they just adjusted for the extra fence. They come properly, work like crazy and do wonderful work. When I didn't like the placement on part of the fence, they cheerfully tore it up and redid it. They were two thousand cheaper than the nearest bid. They did my neighbors' fence and it was cheaper than if he bought the materials himself. My neighbor is HVAC contractor. All the homeowners told him to get Action. We had a wonderful experience with them. read more

I recently had an issue with my aluminum fence(the post got really loose and somehow jammed the gate so it would not open). Per a neighbor recommendation, I contacted Action Fence. Amy got back to me right away and was able to get my property on the schedule within a week. Frank came by and fixed it so quickly, my cams didn't even pick him up on it! My project started on July 19 and it is now August 22 and it is not complete. I just had a double swing gate installed, and they do not align at the top and the latches do not lineup. I have called several times and never speak to anybody. They only respond by email when they feel like it. They've already jackhammered out the post one time and replaced them, but they do still not lineup. I was told they would be out 2 to 3 days to finish the job and it has been over a week. Initially this company was easy to work with. They set up an appointment to look at a wrought iron gate I have to a pool which was rotted out due to Beach weather and to get an estimate for replacing existing fencing in the off season. The bid took around 5 days and came via email. I also got other bids for the same things that were comparable in pricing. I chose Action fence based on the professionalism of the gentleman who came to do the bid and the timely manner they could do the work. We set the appointment for 3 weeks out due to their busy schedule. On the day of their set appointment no one ever showed up, mor did they call to say they were not coming. 1 1/2 hours After the time they should have arrived (9:30 am on a Monday morning) I called their business line and got a recording. I left a message. No one called me back. However, the next morning at 8:30am a young worker came. Looked at our gate and said that they would probably need to order a part to "fix" the gate.(they had 3 weeks to get this done) He left. 2 days went by and NOTHING..no phone call letting me know exactly what was going on. I called them and actually spoke with a lady on the phone who said that she would find out what was going on and would call me back in 10-15 minutes..Again..NOTHING.. we left our house to go to lunch and as we were coming back noticed on our Ring Security camera, a man in black truck parking in our driveway, then getting out inspecting our gate. Of course he left before we got back. Then NOTHING again! I finally called their office and told them(on their answering machine, of course) Thank you..but NO THANK YOU. My husband and I went to Home Depot, found the part for $3.. bought a can of Rustoleum black textured spray paint for $5.. fixed ourselves.. looks like Brand new Their bid was for $185.00. Looks like I'll be getting someone else to put in my black custom vinyl fencing around my property in the fall. Good luck with this company if you want any kind of Customer service. I'm glad I found this out BEFORE shelling out thousands for my fence. I cant rate the quality of their work.. I wouldn't have a clue about their skilled labor. read more

One of the gates is hung improperly and will not close. I've called Action Fence and asked them to come out and fix the gate. They always promise they will, but they never do. Update - I called Action Fence once again and asked them to please send someone over to fix the gate. This time I let them know how angry I was that they had failed to back up their work. They promised, once again, to come out and correct the problem. This afternoon, a nice young man from Action Fence came out and fixed the gate in about 15 minutes. So, I'm changing my rating from a 1 Star to a 2 star. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't choose them. read more

Action fence kept me updated on delays due to material shortages from Covid-19 and as soon as the fencing was in they scheduled the install. They took 1 day on a job that was supposed to take 2. The quote I received was for cheap aluminum extruded fence which was readily available at Home Depot or Lowe's. Their cost nearly tripled the Home Depot or Lowe's estimate. So even though these guys don't need another amazing review I felt that I still needed to do it. So our 70 pound English Bulldog was playing in our backyard the other day and couldn't stop when he was running and hit the fence and broke the one support post. I sent a message to the company late that night and the owner called me first thing in the morning today and had someone here this afternoon replacing it and also brought me one of my picket pieces and tops that had broken in another section. The guys that came out were great! Very friendly, very thorough, and did an amazing job. Not only will we use them from here on out for all of our fencing type needs but we will also tell everyone that is looking! Something that also really impressed me was the main guy that was at our house was Sam. He had two guys working for him but you could tell he was the one in charge. They all worked together getting the job done. Sam was the one I paid at the end. I gave $20 for a tip to him for the three of them to get some food and drinks when they were done, not a lot, just a thank you. Well in the past I have had crews of companies here doing different work and when I paid the main person and gave them the tip for everyone, they always pocketed the tip. Now I'm not saying that later they didn't split it or use it to buy something for everyone but it never appeared that way! WELL, what truly impressed me with Sam was I seen him walk right over to the two guys working with him and he gave them the tip and I could hear him tell them it was a tip for them to go get some food and drinks once they were all done for the day! He was also understanding of the requirements of our HOA and helped us prepare the paperwork to submit. As soon as we got the fence approved, I gave Andrew a call and he was able to schedule us for installation within a week. Turns out that our fence order got delivered earlier than anticipated, and Andrew and his crew came even earlier! The installation was fast and efficient. Nick was great! He meet us on short notice even in the rain. While at the house he was able to provide sample photos for the HOA, give us a quote, and set up an install date. We were pleasantly surprised when he was able to work us in for an earlier date. The evening before the install we touched base and was quickly confirmed that they would be there on Saturday morning, even though he was then at the hospital with his wife having a baby. Sure enough his crew showed up bright and early and quickly went to work installing the fence. They worked around a sloping yard and downspouts and made quick work completing the fence. Moved into a new house from out of state. Nick and action fence did a great job on our new fence for our ball chasing Labrador retriever. Nick kept in touch thru out the whole process. He did all the prework with permits and HOA permission. When the week came to install the fence it rained quite a bit, but NIck and crew pushed thru and got everything done before we arrived. i had them come out to give me an estimate, they had a good price but i didn't know what it should cost so i got a second opinion. once i wanted to go with this company, they told me they were not interested in the job anymore. well, thats a great way to run a business. needless to say, i had to go with another company that was $400 more because of the pride of this salesman for action fence. the arrogance factor should be eliminated and you should just try and care for your clients instead of being rude because we want other quotes. read more
