Very helpful to not drive all the way there and be stuck in traffic! After that they were very friendly and patient as we perused and grabbed a few essentials. They were helpful and even had a cute dog... very important for the experience :) Overall, very friendly and knowledgeable about all things "ski," they really embodied that small town feel. Definitely recommend renting from here instead of on the mountain- prices are WAY cheaper and the quality of their rental skis/boots/poles were exponentially better than at Ski Apache (trust me). Wallace answered all of my technical questions about my full suspension bike I was traveling with, explained in great detail things I wasn't aware of, tuned her up, and readjusted my suspension specifically for me on the local trails. After a week of beating down my bike on super chunky trails in southern Utah, Wallace re-torqued and tightened my bike and had me ready to ride. I've been to many well known bike shops throughout Utah and this small shop in Ruidoso stands out. A+. His knowledge of cannabis is extensive, and he takes the time to explain the products, how they differ and what might best suit what you're looking for--without ever making you feel rushed or pressured. We tried several other dispensaries during our trip, but they felt sterile and impersonal by comparison. We kept returning to Ideal, and Jeff consistently delivered top-notch service. We also appreciated learning that Ideal one of the few area dispensaries that grows its own cannabis rather than relying entirely on large outside suppliers. Knowing where the product comes from and having someone who can speak so thoroughly about it made a tremendous difference to us. Jeff is personable, helpful and can happily talk for days about the ins and outs of cannabis--and you'll leave knowing far more than when you arrived! Ideal Cannabis set the bar incredibly high for our first dispensary experience.
