Both styles are very easy on the joints and less intense than Vinyasa, so good if you are looking for stretching and/or coming back from injury. I liked the classes as you do positions that other schools tend to not get to (such as extended cobra, threading the shoulders, etc.). I also LOVE the fact that you get blankets to use - makes final Savasana position so comfy and relaxed. Irene is a great instructor with a soothing voice. Parking in the neighborhoods is super easy even on street cleaning days (Wednesday/Thursday) and you have plenty of space to move around in the studio. She said "no worries" and still fit me in. The way that was handled alone earned points! I did a deep tissue massage with hot stones with Lily. WOW. 10/10 recommend. She went to absolute war with the knots in my shoulders in the best way possible. One of the best massages I've had in a long time, and shockingly affordable for how good it was. I walked out feeling completely relaxed and de-stressed. I liked it so much that the next morning I actually called back just to ask for Lily's name so I could write this review properly. Had to give credit where it's due. Pro tip: pay cash. They use a green tea oil and even give you a face mask if you do. I will 100% be back next time I'm in San Diego.

BUT... I had some pain in my neck and shoulders and my therapist went of script amd really helped that area. The two big issues were that we could hear a lot of noise from the lobby which took you out of the mood. And when we were still dresssing a lady walks in on us. Obviously she was embarrassed and we were a bit shocked. We were partially dressed but she should have knocked. Add to this -while we were still dressing- she started to clean the room. It was just off putting. We will be back but having the lady walk in in us was just not a great way to end the massage.
