The dentist, Dr. C was very rude to me and insulted my teeth even after telling her I had a severe phobia of dentists. I had an infection under the gum line from an impacted tooth and they charged me $25 just to write me a prescription for amoxicillin. Then I still had to pay my prescription co-pay. They will nickel and dime you at this place. Friendly faces but that's about it. It took a lot of courage to go into that place and they made me feel terrible about myself and my teeth the entire time then tried to scare me into paying them $400 for a cleaning by saying if I came back another day the price would go up. The service was great from beginning to ending. The hygienist was very friendly, gentle and thorough. We chatted throughout my appointment like we've know each other for years. I think her name is Kassandra. My experience with her was so great that I made an appointment for my son on the way out. They also give you a goodie bag which includes a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste and small bottle of Listerine. When I first started, I had avoided dentists for about 10 years. I had a lot to catch up on due to that and my bad Irish teeth genes. (you can't run from a bad cap). She is an artist and a perfectionist when it comes to her work while being very conscientious of patient comfort. She also has a great sense of humor. Her office is full of very nice staff, and she runs a tight ship. Appointments are prompt, the waiting room has a computer with internet and a plethora of magazines including a few for the guys, the facilities are state-of-the-art technology and operating-room clean, and well laid out. After they write everything up they you gotta have you sit down with like person #5, and they go over their financing plan and and you to sign off on the agreement so they can get you in the schedule for all these services. Mine came out to like $7000 or $8000. One service was gonna cost between $200-400 and it needed to be done every 3 months for the rest of my life they said. Im not a dentist so maybe they were spot on with everything but it didnt feel like going to the dentist and i felt like I was getting suckered.
