Ray came through and helped me with my termite problem. Very professional, knowledgeable, upfront about everything, and probably one of the kindest people you'll meet in general. I had an issue with "love bug" infestation due to some trees nearby so Ray comes by every month to make sure they don't come back with a spray that kills bugs and creates a barrier around my house. Hired these guys to do a routine spray in our building for new service. All of the walls were freshly painted white the week before. Their technician Joseph had ZERO regard for the walls or the property. He was supposed to remove any spiders, and he did so by smudging all of the fresh white walls with a dirty dust mop. He left our walls disgusting. When I saw the walls after he left I was in shock how someone could care so little for a client's space. And I wish I could say at least all of the spiders are gone. Active Pest Control came out in a couple of days after calling to deal with a rodent issue in my attic. The sealed off the entries around the house and set traps in a couple of hours. When they came back for their first follow up visit, the rodents were gone. Apparently they sealed up the house while they were out for the day. They still have one more follow up visit to check the traps, but I expect they won't be getting back in. APC was professional, cleaned up after themselves and were reasonability priced. i called Them out to check out a Bee issue that I was all of the sudden having in my garage. Ray showed up within the hour. I had closed the garage before he arrived. I opened it up for him when he arrived and a lot of bees flew out. He did an inspection inside and out . There were still a few bees in the area. Ray stated that they were looking for a place to nest but they found that it's not a safe place for them to do that because when the door is closed they had no way for them to get in or out. Sounds great but it's a rip off. Money not well spent. The initial technician was great. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Hats off to Shawn, he's a stand up guy. The last guy to show up was not. For $85 , I'd expect to at least have the guy there inspecting and making sure the house, yard, garage were ok. Instead he spent 5 minutes spraying the outside the front of my house. I wish I made $85/5 minutes. Didn't ask if I had any infestations or problems. He knocked, said I had an appointment and sprayed. Came back and handed me a bill and walked away. The billing process is a bit tricky. I found out that I had a past due balance from Oct. 2018 that I wasn't aware of. Today was the first time I received a call about it (Jan 19, 2019). Instead of calling months ago, they decided to keep showing up and spraying outside of my house for 5 minutes. My gardener does more work for pest control than these "trained professionals". APC reached out to me prior to the techs arrival. Once the tech arrived he was super attentive to my concerns and needs.
