I have Essex Boat at Active Storage for 3 years. On site manager Rich is always dependable and provides excellent service always has my boat out on time for pick up. Dropping off my boat Rich puts it back in storage quickly so never out in the sun for long. I was previously before at the other storage up the street and glad I switch to Active Storage. I've had my boat at Active in storage for just a month, but in that month I've been very impressed. Not only is it indoor storage (my major requirement) and at a good monthly price, but Rich has been great. He gave us an orientation at the facility and we were very impressed. I love the flexibility of pickup and dropoff as well. Probably the most impressive thing with Active is the fact that Rich has a wash facility and repair facility that will come to him and do end of season cleanings and maintenance (and any other maintenance for that matter). Been keeping my boat here for last few years. No real issues (I mean come on, its a storage place). Recently I called in the morning and notified Don I would be picking up my boat that evening. I even called that afternoon to remind him and ask if he had any problems. When I arrived that evening the boat was not pulled out. Got an earful from Don who was drunk on the front porch about courtesy (I just bit my lip). All of the storage places I have used have no issues calling the same day to get your boat. Don does and good luck with anything less than a 24 hr notice. What ever happened to customer service. read more

Have kept our boat here for 2 years now and have had nothing but great service. Like that we just call the day before and boat is waiting for us. Love that we only have to drop the boat off when we are done, no more awkward storage unit. Location off the freeway is convenient on our way to Lake Havasu. read more
