This was a nice place to take my family. The playgrounds are great-- clean and well maintained. We found two plus there's an additional slide transitioning from upstairs to downstairs. Farm animals are cute and for 3 years and up you can pay I think 150 pesos for a feeding experience. If I could go back I would skip feeding the flamingos as the attendant wasn't very friendly, the flamingos eat aggressively and it becomes a big splash zone. The fish are in good shape and lively. There's tons of animals to see. There were food options for my allergy child and a few places to get food and additional drink and snack station toward the playground and farm animals. The not so good: it's pricy for entry at least I think for the area. There should be places to wash hands or a hand sanitizer station nearby places like the fish touching, and farm animals. You have to go inside to one of the bathrooms to clean your hands after touching animals and I think it discourages a lot of people from actively washing their hands. read more

If you're looking for something to do on a Monday when most everything else is closed, go to Acuario Michin. It's $239 for a total access ticket (giving you entrance to a few exhibits that cost extra money like feeding the goats). My five-year-old daughter and I went in July 2022 and here's our experience: 1) Exhibits: Arrows on the ground guide you through the exhibits of fish, sharks, sting rays, sharks, etc. Even though the main focus is an aquarium, they also have animals like snacks and spiders. Outside are farm animals like chickens, bunnies, and goats. They also have a large bird area where you can feed the birds. The favorite exhibits were the finger-sucking fish (it doesn't hurt, just tickles), the bird area, and the outdoor animals, especially feeding the goats. One interesting thing different than other countries is that brands have ads throughout the space. For example, after the sting ray exhibit, you walk through an interactive Coca-Cola ad. Also, many of the close encounter exhibits cost extra money, usually $30 pesos. 2) Food: In the outside area is a food court with pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and other snack items. 3) Amenities: My daughter loved the sand box outside and the machines that dispense food to feed the goldfish, etc. It costs $5 pesos for food, but usually you can find scraps on the ground to use to save money. read more

Really impressive world-class aquarium. I compare all aquariums to the one close to where we live in Monterey California and this is up there. From the exhibits to the special activities like shark diving, this spot was great. They have a decent food court as well. Note that the surrounding area is a little iffy and I would not recommend walking here, take an Uber instead. read more

More than just an aquarium - with all sorts of (somewhat surprising) non-aquatic exhibits included. The place itself is not really all that big - but you can easily spend far more time here than you might initially suspect. The entry fee includes a free fountain drink in the outdoor snack area (which you can upgrade to something else for just 10 pesos if you prefer) and a small bad of food to feed the birds in the aviary. The workers don't know how to do their jobs. It takes for ever to buy tickets and when you ask the staff a question they don't know the answer. Their main goal is to get you to spend as much as you can. And if you go on a day a bunch of school kids go you will have to wait for everything read more

Wonderful experience. Have many species. Well organize, clean, staff is friendly. You can feed birds and goats. You also can explore the immersion with sharks inside a cage. For that you need to make a reservation. Unfortunately they don't have any discount for disabled. We came here December 2020. I was freaking out because this was the first time going to a public place during the pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised to find how well managed the place was. They took everyone's temperature. They had loads of hand sanitizers everywhere. It was not crowded at all! *note: we came during the week, not sure how it would be during the weekend.* they also reinforce that everyone wear a mask. All their employees wore their masks CORRECTLY. The price of entry was about $12 USD per person and it included a bag of food to be able to feed the fish and the birds. Now here is the best part!! The price ALSO includes LAZER TAG!! Oh and a jumping gym/obstacle course. The aquarium is pretty big! There is so much to see and do and we will definitely be going back. One thing to note: there is parking but you have to pay. Lovely aquarium. We had 1/2 hour to tour and we're able to do a quick walk of the entire indoor space without stopping and only stopped for the feed the stingray experience which was so much fun and totally worth the extra money. read more

I went on a weekday, June 26, 2017, during school time. Very few people and not crowded at all when I went. Without exaggerating, the employee to guests ratio was more then 2 employees to 1 guest. All the employees were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and there to answer any questions. Pros: Newer (opened March, 2017). Immaculate with their cleanliness and well taken cared of. Several scuba divers were in the tanks cleaning them very well. Open seven days a week. On the same property of Parque Alcalde which is a nice park and should definitely visit after the aquarium if they're opened. Conveniently close to Central Guadalajara. Cons: Very small and you can easily walk the whole aquarium taking your time in an hour. Pretty expensive. Entrance almost $200 MXP. Pictures are $80 MXP each. read more

Beautiful place! So many species to look at, and interact with. We took pictures with a boa and later with parrots. Touched the rays, sea snails, starfish. Fed birds in the aviary, took more pics with a lizard on our head! ^.^ had a little break in their refreshment area... played around with their Coca Cola screens !
